OK, the playoff picture is more clear, but far from decided. The two key match-ups next week are Silent Drifter v. Ant and Backstab! v. Q-Tip. Wewo v. Skippy may be a match to watch as well.

Efren, Wewo, Io(sa), Beef, Matzwhat, and Faceman all clinched playoff spots (Efren, Beef, and Faceman clinched their divisions). That leaves two playoff spots. Hardwarebeer and Fight are definitely out and its looking grim for Q-Tip and Ant.

Backstab! and Silent Drifter control their own destiny. If either wins they are in the playoffs with 7-6. If Backstab! wins and Matzwhat loses, Backstab! will take the division. If both Backstab! and Silent Drifter win, they take the remaining playoff spots and everyone else is out.

If Backstab! and/or Silent Drifter lose, then a 6-7 team(s) will be in the playoffs. If Skippy beats Wewo he is the odds on favorite to reach the playoffs (since he has the most points of potential 6-7 teams so far, the tie-breaker). If Skippy loses to Wewo he is out of the playoffs. Next most likely is Kiwi with second most points and a match-up vs Fight (the quitter).

Compton and Flux need a lot of help. They need Backstab!, Silent and Skippy to lose, then two of Backstab! (at 6-7) (leading the three in points), Compton or Flux (nearly tied with points at the moment) will make the playoffs at 6-7.

So it all boils down to the last week for quite a few players.

Question. If I lose and Matzwhat and Faceman win do I become the fourth seed because I lost head to head to both of them?

no, points are the tie breaker. You are likely to have more points than Matz, and are nearly dead even with Faceman. So if that happens you will be seeded second or third.

How does Backstab take the division if we both win and MatzWhat loses? I thought division records play a part in it, because what would be the point of having divisions if they didn't?

I think the tie-breaker for division champ is division record, but the tie-breaker for playoff spots is total points.

This is what Yahoo has as projections if Backstab and I win.

My apologies, tie-breaker for Division is:

1. Division winning percentage.
2. Total fantasy points (season total).

Silent, you would win that tie-breaker and win the Division.

Wildcard tie-breaker is:

1. Total fantasy points (season total).
2. Fantasy points scored in last week's matchup.

So if all three of you win, you will be seeded last (barring a ridiculous change in points), pitting you against Efren. If you win the Division you will face me or IO(SA).

I had no idea either at first, but it turned out after a couple of weeks I understood what to do! It is weird though that I got my highest score when I was just screwing about with my team on the first week... when I thought I knew what to do I started loosing!

It has been really fun, and I'm not doing too bad, you should try and play when the next season starts. I have found a love of this game, nearly as much as real football. :P

I cannot believe I lost on monday night to a freaking backup who ended up scoring more points than mccoy got all season.... Now I have to get lucky to even get a chance to play efren....

Guess that's the luck of fantasy football. Thought I had a great team haha

For what it's worth Kiwi, you lost to one of the best franchises ever.

Unfortunately, my boys chose to stay at home and watch their respective games instead of playing for me last week...hopefully they will post a few more points for me this week...

What a weekend of football! This is what the playoff picture looks like going into the last game of the last week of our fantasy football regular season.

Already in, occupying 6 of the 8 available playoff spots
  1. Efren (Donner Division champ)
  2. BeeF (Kalt Division champ)
  3. Faceman (Anzio Division champ)
  4. MatzWhat (probable Avalanche Division champ)
  5. Wewo
  6. IO (SA)

Destiny in their own hands, a win and they're in
  1. BaCkStAb!
Will need Pierre Garcon to make up the 30.25 point deficit in order to beat MatzWhat and secure a playoff spot. Not out of the realm of impossibility, but certainly a tall order.
  2. Silent Drifter
With his team done for the week, will need Faceman's Hakeem Nicks to score less than 9.6 points on MNF for a win. The way Nicks has been playing so far, this could really go either way.

Need some help, and then some
  1. Skippy
Needs either BaCkStAb! or Silent Drifter to lose, and also needs RG3 and Lawrence Tynes to score more than 15.25 points on MNF to beat Wewo. Also, Bryce Brown ftw.
  2. Kiwi
Got the cake matchup of the week, playing Fight's inactive team. After Skippy, has the advantage over the rest of the 5-7 teams due to the total points scored tie-breaker.
  3. Dr Comptonites
The "Comeback Kids" have stopped Efren and his 10-game winning streak, winning by a gigantic 50 point margin this week. Still, they need a few things to fall their way in the other matchups in order to sneak into the playoffs.
  4. Fluxion
Apart from certain results going in his favor, Victor Cruz will also need to go nuts to the tune of at least 40.4 points on Monday night so he can beat Hardwarebeer[fin]'s team. Not looking good.
  5. Qtip and ant
Qtip is up by 22.45 points with Martellus Bennett and Santana Moss left to play, while ant has Alfred Morris ready to roll. This is Qtip's matchup to lose, but even then it's going to be a long shot making the playoffs considering the number of teams who are ahead of him in terms of total points scored and are likely to win this week.

It's going to be an awesome MNF game, and I can't wait to see who's left standing when the smoke clears!

Sorry Compton, I made some bad choices and am not likely to defeat Skippy this week. Why oh why did I trade AP? Why oh why did I not start Lance Moore? etc. Unless RG III gets pulled from the game like Alex Smith o.O
