Operation: X, Strategy, Minecraft Announcement
<div style="width: 550px; text-align: center" align="center">Operation: X's mission statement is to test and support games, and build them to the point where they can become their own division. Over the past handful of months, the Strategy division and the Operation: X division have appeared to share a similar goal. With this, the two divisions have decided that it would be very beneficial to come together as one team to accomplish a common goal - support and test out the games that the members of eGO want to play. We officially announce that Operation: X and Strategy will be merging into a single division, under the Operation: X name.
With this merge, you can expect to play the same games that you love, along side the same leadership you know, with some new faces and new games to play with. Because of the multitude of games under the Operation: X umbrella, less active games, and those games that eGO can not build a divisional community around will be dropped. These games consist of Red Orchestra 2, Runescape, Company of Heroes, Star Trek Online and Diablo 3. These games will continue to have forums and Ventrilo rooms, but will no longer have divisional support. The Operation: X division will continue to have Council oversight from DigitalDJ. A full breakdown of the new leadership will be posted later this week.

There is another game that will not be included in this merge, and that is because Council and eGO leadership have other much larger plans for it. We are also proud to announce that Minecraft will officially become its own division. We feel that Minecraft is to the point that it has a large enough player base to be able to sustain itself on its own. The new Minecraft division will have a strong team of leaders, headed by Ill Legend in the Council position. The leadership roster can be found below.
