Hello :)

I am pretty sure the following I am about to ask was done to death in the past, however a quick google search hasn't turned any positive results. :chair:

But I was wondering why there isn't any flash server?
I only ask because I loved the gameplay on that map, along with Donner and Avalanche. It was different than the usual maps.

Flash was a wonderful and beautiful map of grenades and machine guns. It was the first map I played DoD:S on and where I met Goomba in the Hell Hound days, but its been a long time since then. After the Kirk era, Flash suffered a depression of players that it never quite recovered from. Numerous times loyal Flashites tried to resusitate the dying map to no avail. It was buried, with its 2 or 3 vending machines, in mid to late 2011.

Oh :O .
I may understand why Flash won't get as much attention as the other maps. It is more linear. Alright.

I suppose I'll find a server online that has flash to satisfy my nostalgia itch :)

Go back to Strat:X Dutch, no crying about Flash here
lol its just OP:X now :p but i can not really get into the whole flash thing. So much garbage went down, but i kinda buried that and moved on.

Try Strand it is also a big map!

I do play Strand from time to time. As well, Flash isn't the same as strand, in terms of gameplay.
The size of the map isn't why I liked flash, it is because it was so linear that mostly suicidal and coordinated attacks would work.

What an amazing way to put it.

LOL

The Kirk, Semper, and Chocolate days... Also that no good Dutch and our buddy Jimmy.

None of the Dutch are any good, you are right Chocolate!

There are two kinds of people I hate in this world... Those that are intolerant of other people's cultures and The Dutch!

I miss Flash... I swear the deadliest place to be in the DOD universe was main street on Flash. The life expectancy had to be like 5-10 seconds...

Indeed!
I still remember throwing smoke nades and rushing to get to the cafe without getting shot from an allied MG or a sniper. Or I smile at my luck every time I capture the middle flag without getting shot directly.

I remember my dreaded nades and spade.

Throwing a nade from Americans 2 all the way to German sniper house blowing up the sniper in the doorway...

Or running all the way around Axis 2 and spading ever thing in site.... Whack a mole!

I still have nightmares.

I miss rushing hotel and capping the 1st axis flag most of the time when i out flanked main. Most people complained to me that I was everywhere. I think i miss the flash community it had though. It was never a dull moment with Mr.T and the apple guy saying how awesome his MAC Book Pro is while Mr. T gave him a hard time about it.
