New maps by any chance?

How's it goin guys?

First off I wanted to say thanks for letting me join this awesome group of people, the source servers are the only ones I play on and I love it. That being said, what are everyone's opinions on opening up another map ( maybe like cbble, aztec or something ). I'm not sure what eGO's server past is but I know I would definitely enjoy playing with all these guys on some new maps. Just idea, feel free to fill me in if this has been done or thought of. I wouldn't mind seeing de_dust switched back to the cs_assualt map we had a year+ back.

Guessing that wouldn't be that good of an idea seeing as theres probably a reason it isn't on the server listings anymore lol.

Why would they get rid of de_dust? the server is doing great. Now if they brought back the old town favorite of stock maps with awps.

dust has been doing extremely well after it got pulled to try aztec. with CS:GO coming, I realistically don't see eGO getting any more CS:S servers.

i dont know about replacing 1 of our servers with a new map, but how about an event where we play classic maps only? I'm sure we've done this before at some point, but maps like..de_prodigy, cs_siege, cs_docks (ancient history), etc etc

And by that I mean I have read the other threads. And I liked cs_assualt more than de_dust.

Dust and De_Dust2 seem to both be going great. High school is okay and same for office ( I believe). If anything I think jail should get more maps. ;P

it would be cool if the event server was more utilized for active use when there is not an event going on. Something like a scrim map rotation would be a great way for our eGO players to become more familiar with maps. No need for anyone to say that this is a stupid idea or unrealistic because of CS:GO taking the main focus starting Mid-August. Just saying my 2 cents, don't mind one way or another if they are taken into consideration Thanks for reading!

Sounds logical to me. If we have a server setting there doing basically nothing for 90% of the time why not open it up when an event isn't going on? A classic CS map rotation would be awesome!

One of my ideas was a rotation server. But send this to the Drop Box, where leadership can talk about it.

That was the old stock maps about 1-2 years ago back when we had a real scrim team and final battle ground.

Ahh thanks for all the feedback haha. I agree that all servers seem to be doing great and jail could use a couple more maps i feel. Also using the event sever for scrims would be awesome.. maybe even a tournament sometime?
