This is exciting stuff! I'm from the KC area but don't live within the area that they are going t provide the service. Let's hope that it spreads like wild fire! If I had that internet I'd be hosting a CSS server :p
 
They are really going at it, 1 Gb internet is insane.

And we get a tablet for a TV remote...

Yeah that's pretty crazy. It's cheaper than Time Warner or ATT uverse yet 100 times faster :p

And you get a tablet.
 
That's not bad.

I pay 80 a month for RoadRunner Lightning which is 40 MBPS.
 
Oh my goodness. I could dl diablo 3 in 8 seconds with that. That's ridonculous
 
I wish I lived there lol I get 3 mb connection for 50 dollars a month gotta love small towns.
 
So happy its coming to Kc, its exactly what i need since i have 24 mb/s download and .9 mb/s upload, and I pay $83 a month.
 
Since I moved house my internet provider decided to screw up and refuse to fix it so I've been living with top download speeds of 120kb/s for a month now :(. It's truly horrible, especially with having to download the games i bought form the summer sale.
 
I still prefer Google TiSP. It's the first crappy internet that's actually good.

I live about 2 and a half hours out of Kansas city... those lucky sons of guns T.T
