what do you mean?
lyrics dont define the song.
Most great artist like two of my favs: Tool and Pink Floyd always came up with their sound first. The lyrics they produced through them was simply a metaphor for their own feelings and perceptions of the sound and music they created. Alot of good artist create their music before lyrics. A truely talented musician can express his message through music alone.

Back then it was fine, but you dont expect instrumental songs on cd's anymore.

I'll agree with you on that one Buck. Talent in the music industry has been dwindling at a alarming rate in recent years.
