I don't know what you are looking at for cards, but I love my Nvidia 560 Ti and it is more that sufficient to run BF3 with a solid 75 fps.

A 460 might actually still be worth your buck. It'll be cheaper, still runs BF3 like a champ, and the 560 [Ti] honestly isn't that major of an upgrade.

The 560 Ti would definately be an upgrade over the 460...which would equal increased longetivity of the card, at a relatively minor increase in cost (compared to replacing the card earlier)

560ti would be a smarter investment the a 460 due to the fact that the 560ti is a later generation, there are more of them out there so if beemer decides the SLI the 560ti there will be more cards available but if he got a 460, have fun hunting.
