Signature of the Week Discussion Thread

Lots of people have returned to school last month and this month, so I expect participation to be down.

I may make these 2-week events.
 
Guys and gals we really need people to participate! Don't let SotW die again :(
 
The only problem with that is the fact that SotW is not a stickied thread. A monthly event will get swamped by new threads and we will be in the same boat. I think I'm going to have to put up voting for Sprites even tho you and I were the only ones who entered. It will be a two-man race this go around, and hopefully more people will participate in the next one. I personally will be entering every week just to keep the door open (and now that I am joining the Newsletter Team, I might be able to throw in an advert or two to pique interest).

Ill Legend told me this would happen, so I'll just have to deal with it.
 
well, I was going to shovel along and put up week 5, but voting for week 3 has only 2 votes and no clear winner. So week 3 will need a winner before I can move things along.

come on folks, we need participation please!
 
I am extending last week's competition through this week because I want more people to vote on #4.
 
as soon as there are enough votes for #4 and entries for #5.

i realize many of us are in school and so may not have the time to get something in by week's end. so even though it's called signature of the week, it's really signature of the however long it takes for enough people to enter.

we make do.
 
I have been slammed with work to the point that I hardly have time even to play GW2 right now. I'll see what i can work up for the most recent one may take me a bit though.
 
The voting for week four is tied. we need at least one more vote to determine the winner. I cannot move forward with voting for week five until week four is complete.
 
I am debating whether or not to continue posting this competition. I was hopeful that a handful of people would continue participating even through the school months, but that does not seem to be the case. If more people actually participate- in ALL aspects of the competition (i.e. submitting, voting, discussing)- then I will continue to host this thing. But I cannot continue devoting time and energy trying to keep this thing alive if nobody is willing to participate.
 
There aren't that many active signature makers as of right now, from what I've seen in the requests section. I've definitely seen Med going crazy, I've pitched in a few and an occasional random person will throw one in the mix, but that's about it. I dunno.
 
SAM perhaps you should advertise more. your shop won't get any traffic if nobody knows it's there.
