I don't know why Valve is playing so much attention to TF2 this year, but who cares? We're getting more and more stuff!

not at all. they've always paid special attention to TF2. It is one of their major source of income...and TF2 is like their testing ground as well.

At the beginning of the year, they announced what they would do. They're just attempting to do that. Meet the Pyro was announced and so was Saxxy. Man vs Machine was announced as well I think...if not they gave tons of hits for it at least. A promo pack like Triad is pretty common, we see those once in a while.
