Problems with creating account

I find often that when new member create an account on this website they have trouble configuring the blurred letters and do not know wether there needs to be a space or capped letter.

Maybe there needs to be some sort of hint?

It's part of the Captcha thing itself. I hate doing it on other websites, so I recommend clicking the refresh button beside the box until you find one that you can read well.

That damn captcha is drunk-proof as well.

The reCAPTCHA program we have now can take a bit longer to complete successfully because the letters are quite distorted.

Personally, I prefer the image-based captcha programs (like ESP-PIX) where the requirement is to identify what item belongs in a set, since I find it easier to complete.
