The server just completely shut down. No one can connect to it. My internet is fine, but the server will not communicate. Help?

I've seen it do that a few times. Usually comes back within 10 or 20 minutes. Hopefully the lag will be less horrible when it returns.

It is on a different box than the rest.

In the past, it has often had issues when updates come out, not updating by itself for several days, if at all.
I don't know if this sort of thing still happens or if it's a different problem?

It happened twice. Both times, every person on the server lost connection with it (It was full), and was forced to quit. The first time, you could rejoin, but the second time it didn't even show up in my server history.

I sent in a support ticket just now for the GS staff to look into the lag issue for Foundry. It's the only GameServers server that's experiencing this constantly.

As for clients sometimes lagging out, that usually happens when the server looses the connection to the replay FTP server. It's an issue that Valve needs to fix.

As much as it sucks I'm glad to see I wasn't alone in experiencing a lag issue with a GS server. I had some really random and bad lag on my old L4D2 server from them.
