Trust me, this is a lot more than it appears. If you don't want to read, here is the tl;dr version:
1) Skip down to the first list
2) Vote (in the poll) on which games must be included in a Nintendolympics
3) Give your input on what events my friends and I could hold for the games you are familiar with

Four years ago, following the Olympics, a handful of friends and myself held our own little video games Olympics with the Mario/Sonic Olympics game. Well, this year it came up again, so we wanna hold a second one, but this time it has been mixed with nostalgia for old-school video games, so we want to make it full-fledged Nintendolympics.

The short version is, I need help figuring out which games to include, then what types of events we can do for each of the games (a good mix of individual, pairs, and team). Whenever I ask anyone likely to participate (this time it's going to be huge--like a dozen teams of four) which games they want to see, I hear about some obscure game nobody likes but they are really good at. Hence, I am looking for outside input.

So...to narrow down the list as much as I have thus far, I first limited the qualified games as being Nintendo's top sellers (over 2 million copies sold). Then I removed obscure things like Wii Fit. Then I narrowed down franchises with a million titles (Mario...Pokemon) by finding out which games pretty much nobody participating played very much/at all. That left us with the following list (sorted by # of copies sold):
Wii Sports (Wii)
Super Mario Bros. (NES)
Tetris (Game Boy)
Mario Kart Wii (Wii)
Wii Sports Resort (Wii)
Super Mario 64 (N64)
New Super Mario Bros. (DS)
Mario Kart DS (DS)
Super Mario World (SNES)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)
Pokemon Red/Blue (Game Boy)
Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
Mario Kart 64 (N64)
GoldenEye 007 (N64)
Mario Party 8 (Wii)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii)
Super Smash Bros. Melee (GameCube)
The Legend of Zelda (NES)
Street Fighter II (SNES)
Pokemon Yellow (Game Boy)
Super Smash Bros. (N64)
Star Fox (SNES)
Diddy Kong Racing (N64)
Pokemon Stadium (N64)
Star Fox 64 (N64)

The poll is to help determine (narrow down) which games with overlap should be included, so please vote (feel free to vote for multiple games, even if they are similar!). However, the key to a games inclusion will be if we can hold "events" with them (especially multiple events). I need your help there too. The following games I have never played, and as such, have no idea what to do for events (reminder: need individual AND team events):
Super Mario Bros. (NES)
New Super Mario Bros. (DS)
Super Mario World (SNES)
Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
The Legend of Zelda (NES)
Star Fox (SNES)

The following games are basically just fighting games, so all I can come up with is a simple head-to-head bracket system. If you have any other ideas, let me know:
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)
GoldenEye 007 (N64)
Super Smash Bros. Melee (GameCube)
Street Fighter II (SNES)
Super Smash Bros. (N64)
Pokemon Stadium (N64)

This is the rest of the games and what I have come up with...additional ideas are welcome:
Wii Sports (Wii) / Wii Sports Resort (Wii) / Mario Party 8 (Wii) / Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii) - All of these are pretty broad and have variety so we can just pick and chose events.
Tetris (Game Boy) - We might just cut this one, because there isn't much you can do with it and...it's just Tetris.
Mario Kart Wii (Wii) / Mario Kart DS (DS) / Mario Kart 64 (N64) / Diddy Kong Racing (N64) - Lots of race possibilities--relays, head-to-head, time trials, battle...
Super Mario 64 (N64) - A race through the last Bowser level (fastest to beat it wins)...could do "relays" of sorts on levels (pick a random level, each person on the team goes into the world to collect a star, one at a time, until all are collected for that world)
Pokemon Red/Blue (Game Boy) / Pokemon Yellow (Game Boy) - Players are given 24 hours to play and whoever collects the most types of Pokemon in that time wins...first to collect all badges wins (a marathon)...collect/train for a week, then battle with what you have
Star Fox 64 (N64) - We're going to probably just come up with the same things here as we will for the Mario like beating a level the fastest, etc. Maybe we can do most kills on some levels. Plus, there is battle mode.

Ideas?

I'm glad I am not the only one with an N64 bias. lol. Never played NES, SNES, GameCube or DS so if it were up to me I'd cut all of those, but the others would raise a stink about that.

:P almost everything is checked to bad i haven't played like starfox snes and pokemon yellow.

I've played like all the gamecube/n64/wii games on there :P but not nes, snes, or DS

Could still use ideas for "events" people...lots of votes for Star Fox 64 but if I can't come up with more than just doing battle mode, I'll have to cut it. :/ We decided that every game we include needs to have at least one individual, pair, and team event from it.

Well I've played all of these, and own most of them. If you're going for really long events, Star Fox 64 does have a score meter in every level. You could play the whole campaign and see who gets the most points at the end, or you could each play 3 levels or so and see who gets the best score. The latter may be the best way to go there, seeing as the game has several events which could change which levels you play, even if you don't do it on purpose.

Smash Bros. is a must. Brawl and Melee are both great. The original is good, but the other two outclass it just by sheer content. Melee is my personal favorite, but like I said, Brawl would work as well.

Pokemon is tricky to work in, at least the Gameboy versions. You'd all have to raise teams of pokemon and get them all to the same levels. That's your call, but Stadium has a mode where you can battle with the same leveled pokemon without a hitch.

I personally believe Super Mario Bros. is a great game to compete in; whoever gets the furthest wins, or whoever wins the quickest if there are multiple people good enough to do so. Just gotta determine if warp pipes are allowed, seeing as someone could easily get to world 4-1 after 2 levels and world 5-1 after another 2.

On the other hand, Super Mario 64... the only viable way I can think of competing there would be using a stopwatch to time how fast someone could get a set amount of stars, or a competition to see who can get to the first Bowser fight the quickest (takes 8 stars I believe to open the door to Dark World, where he's located). Other than that, there's nothing I can think of competition wise that's built into the game.

New Super Mario Bros. has a built in battle mode for 1 on 1 competition. Basically it's whoever collects the set amount of randomly generated stars wins that round, and you can set a certain amount of round wins to a match. That's the easiest way to compete, bar maybe a speedrun through world 1. That one's your call, but I believe SMB accomplishes this easily enough.

As far as Mario Kart games go... N64, definitely. I enjoy the DS one as well, it's a solid version. Wii falls short in a lot of ways for me personally, but that's your call. I don't see why you didn't include Double Dash (Gamecube version), that was one of the best ones.

Wii Sports is good, I would stick to tennis, bowling and maybe boxing on that one. Sports Resort on the other hand has some real obscure games, and I would skip it altogether, but that's just me.

Now I love the Legend of Zelda series, but competition wise.... there are many cutscenes in Ocarina of Time and whatnot which aren't skippable. It would kind of bog down a competition. The only way to compete in it would be a speedrun and I feel it would get extremely stale. I would suggest picking up a copy of Master Quest for Gamecube. It's basically every Ocarina of Time dungeon back to back. That way you could go for a speedrun and/or progression, where basically it's whoever gets the furthest or whoever beats it the quickest. The NES version is also tricky.... I suppose it could be whoever gets the furthest without dying/speedrun as well. If you insist on competing in a Zelda game, there's a versus mode in Phantom Hourglass for DS. It's a 1 on 1 game mode where one person is on attack with Link, and the other is defending against him using three strategically placed moving guardians. The player attacking tries to infiltrate points and capture gems without getting caught. The defender has to try and catch Link. If Link gets caught, the players switch sides.

And uhh.... Street Fighter II is a great game, but it's not a Nintendo game lol. I mean, technically, you could play Mortal Kombat and other fighters as well. Your call there.

As far as additional games go, I would look into Tecmo Super Bowl for NES or SNES. It's a great and simple football game that's perfect for competition. Another would be NBA Jam for SNES. I've got a couple more like that if you were interested, but if you're looking for major franchises (Mario, Zelda, etc.), I think I can come up with a couple.

For one, there's Donkey Kong 64. It has a kickass multiplayer battle mode. It's a 4 player free for all elimination type game mode, and it's surprisingly good.

You could also throw in a few Mario sports games, Mario Tennis and the Gamecube version in particular are especially good. Mario Baseball for the Wii is also very good.

Oh and you gotta have one Mario Party lol. I'd suggest 1, 2, 3 for N64 and possibly 4 for Gamecube. Wouldn't go beyond 4 though. Maybe 8 for the Wii.

A Castlevania game could make for a decent speedrun competition too. I'd suggest I or III for NES, or IV for SNES. Same goes for Metroid for NES or Super Metroid for SNES.

F-Zero is a great racing game for SNES, though it lacks a multiplayer element. I do think it would make for a good speedrun though.

Kirby games have a solid gameplay, very fun. I would suggest Kirby Superstar for SNES. It has multiple stories/game modes for speedruns, plus a few one on one versus games.

Oh and WarioWare games! Those are fun as hell. They're basically mini-minigames, referred to as "microgames". They're extremely quick and geared for multiplayer competition. I would suggest the original for Gamecube, WarioWare Twisted for DS or WarioWare Smooth Moves for Wii.

....Annnnd that's about it lol. Let me know if you have any questions or need me to come up with anymore games for any categories or whatnot. =P

(A bunch of text)

Awesomesauce.

Star Fox 64: Yeah the only two things I could think of, personally, were
1) Battle mode with a bracket (could be singles or pairs)
2) Just have everyone play one level and see who gets the best score
BUT...you have inadvertently lead me to come up with another idea, so I am giving you credit for this one...
3) A relay/marathon with the whole team, start-finish where each person plays 1-2 levels (any order). It requires strategic planning (which path do you take for your team's strengths?) and definite teamwork.

Smash Bros: I've only played it a few times myself so I honestly don't even know if there are multiple gametypes?? I know you can do individual or team though, so I think it will work.

Pokemon: In general, I am definitely leaning AWAY from anything involving Game Boy, GBA or DS (aka the handhelds). The exception is Pokemon, because it's SO iconic, and also because I have ideas that I think will work.
1) The idea where everyone has a day/three days/a week (whatever) to just play as much as they can to collect as many as they can would just require a sort of "unveiling" at the end of the time period. I thought about making this a team event, just because one "person" could cheat and split time on the game with a friend while the other competitors sleep, so why not just suggest/allow that from the start?
2) Also not requiring Pokemon to be at the same level was the "get all of the badges the fastest" idea. That would be just as simple as when each person gains a badge they just take a picture of it with their phone and text it to the judge(s). How do we ensure people are using new games for these? We'll just have somebody else name them at the start so they couldn't possibly go to an old game and cheat.
3) For the battling, I don't think they need to be at the same level. In fact, it was kinda my intent that they don't need to be. If you just give people a week to build up their Pokemon as much as possible, then pit them against each other, it's just a matter of how much training you did, which is a reasonable competition. Maybe even have this piggyback one of the other competitions so we're not starting from scratch.

Super Mario Bros: Again, not very familiar with it (like the details of it), so I will have to defer to your knowledge and that of those around me.

Super Mario 64: Well in fact I did plan on using a stopwatch for the things I had in mind.
1) Much like the idea I just came up with Star Fox 64 (so I wonder why I didn't think of it earlier, because I already had this planned), we randomly pick a level for all teams to compete in. Each person has to collect 1-2 stars in that level (of the 7) and the fastest team through wins.
2) This one would require playing an account that already has the Bowser levels unlocked, but I thought maybe do a Bowser level triathlon, timing everyone through the three levels.

New Super Mario Bros.: If this were completely my call I'd just have us compete in games I own lol. But the other participants put trust in me to plan things, with the agreement that I'd not just do that, lol. That's good to know though, because obviously that's news to me (about battle mode).

Mario Kart: Yeah I totally agree 64 is the best. There are guys who LOVE DS or Wii versions though, so you all are kinda the tie-breaker lol. Double Dash was excluded because nobody in our circle of friends likes it very much. The ones who like it like N64 a lot better. However, it does have a definite pairs competition opportunity...

Wii Sports: Yeah agreed. I own Sports Resort, by the way, but have never played it lol. Therefore I am pretty clueless about it, but not afraid to just plain cut it.

Zelda: See now this is the one I really needed input on. Why? I haven't played one second of Zelda. Hell, I haven't seen a screenshot of the game. I only know who Link is from old Nintendo Power magazines from back in the day. HOWEVER, I have a lot of friends who are Zelda fans and say it has to be in there somehow, yet they have no clue what the competitions could be. Thanks for the suggestions.

Street Fighter II: Well there is SF2 for the Nintendo, and SF2 fans are kinda hard-core about it. However, I wouldn't mind cutting it just because the premise isn't far off from Smash Bros. really (to me).

Other games: I love Tecmo Super Bowl. I am also a big Madden fan as well as any other sports game. However...there are a number of people that are not, and I sense that those ones would be a real blowout and not many people interested, hence I had to cut them.

Donkey Kong 64...I'll have to think about that one. Never played it myself, but I will see if others have.

I love Mario Tennis! I sense I am the only competitor who does though...

Yes, I agree there has to be Mario Party. It's also iconic and...pretty each to come up with competitions. I only listed 8 because it's the best seller of the series. I have no idea which one I played, so I am not sure the difference between them. That would require more investigation.

Castlevania, Metroid, F-Zero, Kirby, WarioWare: some more background to all of this. We had a huge debate when we were discussing what should be in. Many, many games had a little camp of supporters (I was pushing "Nagano Winter Olympics" and "Ken Griffey Jr Baseball" for N64, for example) and we weren't getting anywhere. Hence, it was left to me with the agreement that we just went with "popular" games, as defined by the best sellers. Now, this isn't set in stone I suppose, but I'm trying to stick to it at much as possible, because in general those are the games that people will know. All of these you listed, I have never played. I am sure there are others in this thing who have, but I am also sure there are others who haven't. Some games would be very, very good choices for this whole event (like Nagano), but it would be very one-sided in each circumstance.

In fact, even some platforms people are suggesting should be cut. I've heard people make arguments to not even include anything for Game Cube (that's the big one) and every other one but N64 and the Wii (these are multiple people). Truth be told, I am very close to just contacting everyone and asking if we want to limit this to those two alone, or maybe even just N64. However, that cuts out some of the greatest games of all time (original Mario, Pokemon, etc.) so I am not which direction that will go.

More text.

You've got good ideas here, so I'll just touch on anything else that may need clarification or what have you.

About the whole cutting the Gamecube thing... I don't see why you necessarily would. I mean, the older Wii models are backwards compatible and play the games, and there are some great games you'd be missing. I guess if I had to narrow it down... hm.

Well for one, if you HAVE to have Zelda, I think that Master Quest for the Gamecube is literally the best option there. Zelda is a very iconic single player experience, and is known for its storyline, at least on the later versions such as Ocarina of Time. The NES version could have potential for speedruns or trying to get through as many dungeons as possible without dying. It's never really had a multiplayer besides Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures... Wait a minute, that's actually a better idea.

Okay, so Four Swords is a game for the Gameboy Advance. Two to four players can play with each other to run through dungeons and try and defeat the boss at the end. Make of that what you will, but it would make for good team competitions.

Smash Bros. is an excellent series for competition. I would just go with the Wii version (Brawl) and go from there. There are multiple game modes and endless options to play with. There's also a built in tournament ladder system that you can customize with both actual players and bots, which sounds perfect as well.

Super Mario Bros... it's uh... the original platformer? Lol, I dunno. I thought everyone knew the basics there.

New Super Mario Bros. really isn't too necessary. Honestly, it would just be another stopwatch event, or the whole 1 on 1 battle thing. Even then, that's just okay. I would talk to your friends about it and if they really want it that badly, then go with one of those options. If not, I'd just cut it.

Do you have to choose one Kart game? I mean, if you and a few others are real familiar with the N64 one, and your other friends are real good with Wii/DS, then why not go with two of em? I dunno, personally I'd say N64 and DS, but that's just me.

I'll be honest about the whole Wii Sports Resort thing: I don't have it and haven't played it. I do know that every player would need the Motion Plus controller in order to play, and that the events are ping pong (Tennis from Wii sports, but with less people), sword fighting (Boxing from Wii Sports), golf, bowling, frisbee, canoeing, cycling, archery... I think there's a few more there, but I can't remember. Eh, it's your call.

Lmao the whole calling Street Fighter II and Super Smash Bros. the same thing basically.... I know a lot of people who would kill you for that lol. I guess if I'm just explaining the basics here, Smash Bros. has up to 4 players kind of rambling wherever they like on screen, using items and simple combos. Street Fighter II is strictly 1 on 1 fighting, no items and based very strongly on pulling off effective combos. They're two different beasts, but like I said, Street Fighter II was an arcade game first, and then it was later ported to SNES and Sega Genesis.

Aw come on, Mario Tennis isn't a difficult game to get used to. Tell them to man up and play a game you enjoy and know about for once lol.

Well I can tell you that Kirby, Metroid and Castlevania are all main parts of Nintendo. They're all best selling series that each define a chunk of the company.

WarioWare was just another solid multiplayer game suggestion. I didn't know if you were in need of more suggestions or not, so I tossed it out there lol.

Same with F-Zero, except that it's more single player speedrun than multiplayer.

I personally wouldn't cut SNES or Wii. You could potentially live without NES and Gamecube. Handhelds are tricky, but you could potentially do without them too. Unless you're really rooted to that Pokemon idea. Like I said, Stadium is a viable option. Four Swords would be cut without handhelds as well, and Mario Kart DS. You could do without Mario Kart DS, but if you needed Zelda, your only viable option would be Master Quest for the Gamecube.

Even more text

Well, because of everyone involved, one dude likes the GameCube...kinda. I forgot about the backwards-compatible part though. Hmmm...

Again, I have to defer to your knowledge when it comes to Zelda, because I have neither anything to add nor to refute what you say about it lol.

Orly about SSB? I didn't know all of those details. That really does open up opportunities then.

I'd love to have multiple Kart games, personally. We're just trying to limit overlap/repetitiveness. HOWEVER, due to the change in maps and even gameplay (controllers), I think we could get away with that one.

Wii Sports Resort = sounds boring. Besides...I have owned it for years and never played it...so clearly it's badass, right?

No, true, but I just mean they are both fighting games set in a very small area and both of which can utilize button mashing (not saying effectively, but it can be used).

"Man up and play Mario Tennis" lolwut?

Nah I appreciate the suggestions, and I am aware that they are a chunk of the Nintendo family, but Kirby and Metroid are just second cousins in comparison to Mario, DK, Pokemon, Link, etc!

Right now...and again this is just a regional thing or something (smaller sample size so weird things can happen), but my rough estimate to the entire group's platform preferences is as follows:
1) N64
2) A large gap
3) Wii
3.5) DS (it's close)
5) Game Boy / GBA (right now I think Pokemon alone keeps these handhelds wanted)
6) NES
7) SNES
8) GameCube
Many of the guys are in the same boat as me--"We gotta have the classics like the original Mario!" "Well do you personally want to play it?" "Well...no...but I am sure somebody does and we can't not have it."

Though I am in the pro-Pokemon boat (I played the hell out of it when I was younger) it really feels like it would be best to cut handhelds, especially since they require all participants to own their own and I don't know how many people that will include.

Zelda...no Ocarina then?

Oh boy, more text!

Yeah the Kart games definitely change with each gen. The N64 version is pretty simple and straightforward, but Wii and DS get into weight classes and custom karts and all that, so it would be an interesting change.

Actually, Brawl has some very sprawling levels. A lot of the designs actually shift mid battle and whatnot too, throwing an element of randomness into the game. Street Fighter II would definitely be more of a 'face each other and press buttons' game lol. But I get it, they're both fighters and all that. I just think you should include both.

Lol, I thought it was funny. Getting all serious about playing Mario Tennis lol. Nah, I was just saying that you have all these games that they want that you have no clue about and that you should have at least one that you really like even if they don't.

I dunno, I guess the Kirby, Metroid, Castlevania thing was more what sticks out in my mind. I mean, each franchise has sold 12 to 32 million copies of their games each.

Well I was just looking essentially at what you're trying to include here. You have:
N64- 3 minimum games, about 6 or 7 max.
Wii- 2 minimum games, about 4 max.
DS- Really, zero minimum. I mean unless you're going to for sure include Mario Kart DS. But about 3 or 4 max.
Gameboy- 1 minimum if you're going to do Pokemon, 2 max if you're interested in Four Swords for the Zelda category.
NES- 2 minimum if you're going to do SMB and Zelda. Also 2 max.
SNES- 1 minimum for Street Fighter, 2 or 3 max.
Gamecube- 1 minimum if you're going to do Master Quest for the Zelda category. 2 or 3 max.

I'd advise against Ocarina of Time, there are too many storyline cutscenes you cannot skip and too many text conversations to rapidly tap A to try and get through.

A little less text (we're getting there)

Technically N64 had weight classes because the light-medium-heavy all handled differently.

I have obviously not been exposed to very much SSB then because that was news to me.

Well, if I am gonna make a stand for a game, it won't be Mario Tennis lol.

"I mean, each franchise has sold 12 to 32 million copies of their games each." Ummm....no? Like total franchise? MAYBE (maybe). Remember, I did this all based on game sales, so none of those even cracked 2 million individually.

Yeah your chart looks about right, but...the other factor to keep in mind is...we can't include everything. The totals you listed (and yes, you were accurate, so this is on me, not you) were minimum of 10 and max of 21-25. We don't want to make this too over the top, so...we don't have a set limit, but we're not gonna rock this thing with 21-25 games! I'm thinking trimming it to 15 or under is the target, but then....oiy...what do ya cut?!

Oh wait, you already said that about Ocarina. Damn walls-o-text making me forget things! At least we are slowly trimming them.

I can almost just quote the text as is now...

Yeah, I know. But they're a little more balanced in the newer games, and it actually shows the handling, speed, acceleration, weight and uh... one more stat lol. Either way.

Lol, okay fair enough on the Mario Tennis thing.

Yeah. Total franchise each, thus "I mean, each franchise has sold 12 to 32 million copies of their games each." Here, let me look it up:

Kirby: 32.37 million games sold. Kirby's Dreamland: over 5 million sold. Plus 5 others have over 2 million. 12/19 titles have sold over 1 million copies.

Castlevania: 20 million games sold. Can't find further solid information, though a few games have at least 1 million copies sold. There are at least 34 games in the series though.

Metroid: 14 million games sold. Metroid Prime: Over 1.5 million copies sold. Super Metroid: 1.4 million copies sold. There are at least 3 others which have also sold over a million copies.

What to cut huh? Hmm... Well let's look at must haves first:
1. SMB
2. SM64
3. A Mario Kart game
4. A Smash Bros. game
5. A Pokemon game
6. Wii Sports
7. A Mario Party game
8. Star Fox 64
9. A Legend of Zelda game
10. Street Fighter II

So that's ten... Optionals:
1. Another Mario Kart
2. A Mario sports game or two?
3. New SMB?
4. I dunno, Chuck Testa? I give up lol.

Either way, the must haves list includes NES, N64, Wii and Gameboy minimum.
But I think you've already got it cut down pretty well. Unless I'm missing something here. Sorry to start another wall of text, but this one has a lot of space in it because of lists lol.

I was doing US sales alone, FYI, not total.

I pretty much agree with your "must-have" list, except for Street Fighter (not a huge one with this group). Other "must-haves" will be Mario/Sonic at the Olympics and Goldeneye. Olympics is the one I am pushing for (not Mario tennis lol) and then Goldeneye is huge in our crowd.

Just wanted to help spur on the ideas for some specific events in said games. Here's the list that sticks out to me. Sorry if you already talked about this, those are some huge walls of text and I should be in bed.

Super Mario 64 (N64) - Timed competition to get a 100-coin star on a (relatively) easy level

Super Mario World (SNES) - The second secret level - Tubular - is (in my opinion) the hardest level in the game. See who can beat it. If multiple people do, go by time. Can pretty much do that with any level though.

Mario Kart 64 - Individual, pair, and team events possible. In addition to battle mode, team/pair/individual time trials with total times being added up.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) - Team, pair, and individual events. Home Run Derby if not up for straight brawlin.

Pokemon Stadium (N64) - Pick a Pokemon and see who can get the best picture. Make it a hard one, like Ditto. If doing one like Lapras, maybe give 2-3 attempts since that one is kind of random.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) - In the Gerudo Valley there is a horseback archery range. I can't think of a better competition for an Olympic themed video game event. It's perfect!

Also, I've always thought Mario Tennis 64 to just be great fun. For individual and pair events it would possibly be a must!

Hope that helps.

Voted for Mario Kart, Wii Sports, and The Legend of Zelda: OoT.

Mario Kart: My idea behind this is well just racing. Fastest time would win or something like that.

Wii Sports: With the variety of sports there could be multiple small tournaments with each sport. So many points for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. After all sports are done add the points for the winner.

OoT: If you recall when you first had to get Epona from the ranch, you had to go through the track and beat Ingo in a race. Afterwards you were able to go back for fun. That would make for some nice racing.

That's just my input.

Uhhh didn't you guys get the memo--this was a private convo between me and Storm. Lol j/k thanks for the input

Texty McPherson

MK64 - Yeah I was thinking something like that (adding TT times together) but wasn't sure if it would be lame. Now that I'm not the only one thinking it, I feel better.

SSB - Wait, what? Home run derby?

Zelda - That...sounds awesome.

Mario Tennis - Haha this game just won't die! Oh, maybe it's back in the running...

I went to the levy but the levy was text.

Wii Sports - Ah so kinda like a Decathlon or Pentathlon? Damn dude, you just inspired me, actually. I love Decathlons, but I hadn't even thought of having something like that. That would be awesome to think about including--either like a real decathlon (using M/S @ Olympics) or making one up with one event from ten different games.

OoT: "If I recall"? lol clearly you missed the 3-4 times I said I know nothing about Zelda lol. Anyway yeah that sounds like a good idea.

Pokemon Stadium - Those pokemans battles.

Mario Kart Double Dash - Easily my favorite Mario kart game.

/caps MY CHILDHOOD, IT CALLS TO ME.

Seriously though why didn't you ask DD? It's such a good game.

P.S. Add that Mario soccer game because lols.
