Lost windows 7 Home premium 64bit CD

I have my product code and what not, and item #, but I have lost my disc, where do i go for a trusted Windows 7 Home premium OEM 64 bit download, and what disc should i use to do so.

Any sort of input at all on this topic is excellent for me, because I have no clue about recovering windows 7 after you've lost the disc. So, please, HELP! xD

You'll need a DVD disc.
You'll need something like ImgBurn.
You'll need to download the correct Windows 7 .iso.

Depending on where you bought your 7, you could download the .iso from the Microsoft Windows 7 website.

You can also torrent a copy.

NOTE: If you have purchased a legal copy of windows 7, you are entitled to a download of Windows 7 specifically for back-up purposes. Please don't delete my post, I am not discussing anything illegal.

Is the page I think he is referring to but pretty sure it means you will have had to buy the copy from there also.

Ric states truth also, it's legal to have a back up copy even if you got that copy from torrent.

I bought the copy of windows 7 Home premium 64 bit OEM from Newegg.com. I'm not sure if that is good, or bad. But I should probably try calling windows.

So i just take that download and put it on a DVD? whats the best thing to use to burn it to a dvd?

Yep. Use any DVD burner you can get your hands on and use the slowest burn speed.

I use Imgburn for all burning jobs that I need to do. I have had great experience using this software with little to no problems. I recommend Imgburn. :thumbup:
