MvM issues?

I gave up and played Civ 4.

Phlubs was nice enough to host his own server last night. Got to play about an hour of it and it was awesome.

I would find a server that had one person or no people... then it would fill up and I could play... for like 3 minutes... then server would crash after 2nd wave or so... I was only able to play one full round last night.

I just put my server up with no password and it was slammed within 30 seconds.

I jumped in a random mvm server through the browser and joined the red team because someone left right as I came in.

People are hammering the servers. I just rebooted mine (config change) and it was full again in 30 seconds.

Took me about 5 minutes to get in with a ticket. It was awesome couldn't get past wave 5 though

I'm having a blast playing Mvm. I'm not using the game finder, I'm just doing a server search for servers with less than 6 people on them (but with a maxplayers of 32, else bad things happen) and joining that way.

So far I've played Engi, Medic, Scout (lots of fun, and makes the game WORLDS easier), Spy (with little success), and Pyro (very useful). Oh, also Sydney Sleeper Sniper-- keep a big bot coated in Jarate and they become MUCH easier to take down.

Me and my brothers gave up and got our own server up, I hadn't even joined myself and it was full of public players, was full all night and we had a great time.
