Who was your favorite starter Pokemon? Or what region in general? Mudkip is obviously my favorite starter ;D

Basically all Gen I-III fire starters.

Squirtle is the only starter Pokemon you needed, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

However, I usually ditched Squirtle once I got my hands on my Arcanine!

I typically stick with the water-based starter. When I first played Pokemon, me and my brother argued for hours over who would get who (we didn't want the same starter, since we planned on helping each other complete the Pokedex). He won for Charmander, me Squirtle, so ever since then I've been the water starter.

Of the five gens though... I think Oshawott has been my favorite so far (Gen V).

My favorite region is Sinnoh (from Platinum), and my all time favorite starter is Cyndaquil! All of his evolutions are just so cool!
