You'll probably have issues with the gpu coolers and space. I have one on my GTX580 and it's huge...3 slots. Plus the weight of it adds some sag. Why the overkill?
 
The overkill is "because I can"
also my old rig had 2 GPU's with massive coolers as well, it gave no problems

All you have to do is Google OCZ SSD problems and you will read up on write speeds not up to par, sandforce controllers are horrible, overall driver failing. Intel SSDs have (in my personal experience) been reliable and work without any issues. As always do research on the hardware you're looking to buy so you don't potentially waste money when there are known issues. Obviously there won't be any bullet proof hardware but you can make reliable and well educated purchases.
 
Yeah, I'd recommend a Crucial or Samsung SSD.

Other things:
1. Are you gonna OC that CPU and/or do you plan on playing any games that really push your rig? If so, you need an aftermarket CPU cooler, because the stock one that comes with the CPU will not be able to cut it.
2. If all you play is EVE, you won't need 2 670s. You could probably get away with a 660 Ti, or even a 6950. Although getting two 670's will make your rig futureproof for a very long time.
3. Why are you buying two CPUs? Your motherboard only fits one.

Just out of curiosity, is this your first selfbuilt rig?

I'm not getting 2 CPUs, It's 2 GPUs
and no it's not my first selfbuilt, and no I don't really play EVE anymore, and it's overkill because I like overkill :V

Also, I am getting a custom cooler for the CPU it's just not lsited
 
Any particular reason you have 4 GPUs listed? If you want to go that route (it's certainly possible) at least get 4 IDENTICAL GPUs.

Why 32GB of RAM? You will NEVER come even close to filling up 16GB let alone 32GB. Now if you're going to be doing some virtualization or something then by all means go for it.

Why the 128GB SSD? All that money for a great computer and you would handicap it with a 128GB SSD. At the very least look in to a 256GB SSD.
 
I think the 4 gpus you are referring to are actually 2 gpus and 2 aftermarket gpu coolers.

I agree with the other comments completely. If this is just a gaming build, then stick to 16gb and put the rest elsewhere.

If you don't want to do that, I would go with a cheaper motherboard and put that money elsewhere like into the ssd as mobomelter said. 256gb for this type of build at the least. And definitely look at the crucial m4 or samsung 830 for established drives with good reliability. Anything specifically you needed from this super expensive motherboard?

As for the aftermarket gpu coolers, those things are huge, especially when you consider how short the pcb on the reference gtx 670s are. I see it says compatible, but that might not be a great move. The $120 cost is also not exactly appealing. I would personally just bump up to a non reference cooled 670 or even 680. 2gb should be plenty if you are doing only 1080/1200p. Galaxy and MSI appear to have some decent looking 4gb 680s. You could also look at the 7970 (unless you are set on nvidia). With some driver improvements, they are pushing some pretty good performance with the 680. And the 3gb 384-bit interface is sure to be futureproof. Just some thoughts. If EVGA is your only way to go, you could look at their 2 fan 680 which would hopefully be a bit quieter than the reference one. Just some thoughts.

Ah I didn't look at the SKUs all that closely :).
 
I ordered the things, got a crucial SSD instead, the SSD is mostly for the OS
Also, ordered a 690 instead of the 2 670's and dropped the custom GPU cooling.
(for now anyway)
sticking to the 32GB because, RAM costs close to nothing.
 
Well congrats on your overkill, and I hope you have a nice 2560x1600 monitor or a triple monitor setup to go with it or I'm going to cry myself to sleep over all the wasted power.

He is completely right, if your not running an EPIC monitor or at minimum 3 or more displays, then this a computer just to show off, period! PS. 32 GB or Ram is NEVER going to be utilized in the near future, maybe 16-20MAX depending on software usage! But bottom line value is in the eye of the beholder!

My computer has TRI SLI Nvidia 680 2GB with 32GB of ram an Intel i7 6 core 3960X with 15mb's of L3 cache :) and nothing uses that much power. I have a work budget from DICE games(My employer) and don't pay for it! Spending that kinda money out your own pocket is silly since by the naked eye you can't even tell the difference between that and a system about $1200 cheaper! (Game Wise) But i'm the same way! GO BIG OR GO HOME BABY! Enjoy your new RIG it's a beautiful thing :) Happy Fragging!
