Hey all, just looking for opinions on a few different parts as I am planning to build soon so here I go!

CPU

I want a processor that I going to be as future proof as possible since that will be the thing I am least likely to upgrade.
GPU

Just an idea really, This is probably the highest price I can afford so . . . yeah, what would be the best for under $400?

Motherboard

Again, just an idea. I want something that can run GPUs in SLI for future GPU upgrades. Fully open to other boards though. Hopefully looking to keep the price similar if possible.

Looks pretty good.

1.) Get the K CPU it has an unlocked multiplier. Allows you to overclock really well. The Standard does not.

2.) That's a good GPU I almost bought it but ordered the Galaxy GC 4GB 670 instead for only 40 bucks more. I am planning on getting a 120hz monitor and 2 more after the beginning of the year and the 4GB buffer will help with the surround resolution and the 3d when I choose to use it in RTSes and stuff.

3.) That is a well thought of motherboard but I personally think the ASUS higher end boards are overpriced for what you get. I have built a number of comps with ASRock and they have never let me down. You can get pretty much the same specs and features with I think personally a better rep for a better price. ASRock was founded by a bunch of ex ASUS board designers. I have a 2500K with a 24/7 overclock of 4.6 Ghz and can get it to 5Ghz on my Corsair A70 air cooler if I want to push the vcore a bit. I have a ASRock Z68 Extreme4.

Personally I would go with the ASRock board. I have just had good luck with them. Haven't used a Gigabyte board in a while.
