Degradating Game Performance

It has been this way for a couple weeks now. I need to set ALL my graphics to the lowest settings, but still in 1920x1080, to get decent frame rates (e.g. >40-50). I don't know what happened...I even updated my ATI Catalyst and nothing changed. I have been running 2x 5770 in crossfire and everything was great when I first installed em. And my MSI on screen display shows both cards are working. Not a temperature issue. Not a driver issue (that I'm aware of).

Has anyone had a problem with this before, or still? I mean, the game runs but the trees look like cutouts and the grass is poo-poo. Just wondering if someon is familiar with this issue. If not, I guess I can manage...:P

You are saying your graphics look like crap? If so then I play everything on low to keep a good 100+fps and everything looks TERRIBLE

Well, I can max out my settings but I get horrid framerates....this compared to a few months ago where I would max out my framerate with the max settings. Now I need to lower the settings so the graphics look like poo-poo so that I can maintain good framerates and continue pwning noobs. So something has changed, and I was interested if anyone has had the same issue.

I actually ran 2x 5770s before I got a 570. But I couldn't even run BC2 in crossfire since it would CTD with it on.

I'm running one 5770 (Asus EAH5770) and run on high settings 1920x1080 at around 40fps no problems here. Hmmm.

Maybe try disabling/removing one just to see what happens?
