Well, it was 5 years ago today that my app was submitted. Edge Gamers had some great DoD servers and I liked how they ran things. I loved the clean environment and the friendliness of all the players. I liked playing on a server where I didn't hear the F word used as every other word in a sentence.
Life is always busy and I am not nearly as active as I was a few years ago but what an adventure it has been. I am amazed at how far this clan has come. To see so many divisions and so many games, it's incredible. Part of me wants to think I am one of the few who can really appreciate it since there was only DoD when I joined, but that's simply not true.
Even though I can't play as much or be as active as I used to be, I visit this website every day and I love the interaction here. This truly is a great gaming community and sometimes it is even like a family to an extent.
We've had our ups, we've had our downs (the latter being very rare) and this clan continues to be great, growing and expanding like you wouldn't believe.
Here's to 5 years enjoying this community. A huge thank you to Leadership who tirelessly set the standard and raise the bar. A huge thank you to the members, new and old, all ranks, who keep the clan awesome and always make sure our forums and servers are friendly.
I don't write this to celebrate me, I write this to celebrate the clan and each of you. Thank you for a great five years, keep up the amazing work, and most of all, have fun!
