Ok so it has become a very common issue that Battlefield 3 crashes during loading. I will in this post teach you how to rid your self of this issue.
Now before i start il go trough some common "symptoms of this bug"
-Battlelog says "loading game" for extreme long periods of time
- BF3.exe's CPU usage freezes at 49000 and eventually shuts down without any notification and/or error message
- Blackscreen during loading and no response from BF3
You may ask yourself: What causes this?
Well the Answer is easy. Either your Grapichcard or punkbuster is outdated, or your computer doesnt assign enough virtual adress space.
before you start make sure to delete all cached files related to origin and battlefield 3
they can be located at
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local
After that click the windowskey+r and write %TEMP%. Delete all these cache files as well
now lets try by updating the graphic card
depending on what type of graphic card you have you should go to either

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
if you're unsure which one you have
click start, right click on my computer
click on device manager and click on display adapters.
the sub category here is what graphic card driver your computer is using.
Now back to the webpage
if you're using NVIDIA you can use the automaticly find driver button which scans your system and determins which driver specifications to look for
If you use ATI make sure to input the EXACT correct specifications, any errors may end up messing your screen up (not entirely sure if it actually will or not, but my guess is it may)
When you have found the right drivers, download and install the latest version Upon completion reboot your computer and try to run BF3.
If it worked, congratulations, if it didn't you should continue reading
Ok so if updating your graphic card didn't work you should try updating punkbuster. you can find the newest setup files

Download and run the file, try to find new updates for battlefield 3. upon completion you should once again try to run battlefield.exe
if it worked your good to go, if not we will now try to force the application to run
Run CMD as administrator

In the command prompt type this exactly: bcdedit /set increaseuserva 2500. Then hit enter.

Make sure you get a message back confirming the change was made. To verify the entry is there you can type just bcdedit, hit enter, and you should see the entry now listed.

Then close the command prompt. You just told Vista to increase user virtual address (userva) space to 2500MB.

Changes take effect on reboot but don't reboot yet.
SUMMARY
We extended the user virtual address space in XP, Vista and 7 to 2500MB, so now applications can utilize up to that much if they are set to be Large Address Aware. While some 32 bit games/applications are set, Empire is not.
2) Now reboot the PC because Windows needs to set the userva at 2500 which only happens after startup.
If you skip any step it will not work. When you have rebooted you should be good to go. Run the game as normal with the original game shortcut.
TO UNDO THE CHANGES
For the XP 32 bit just delete the line from your boot.ini.
For Vista 32 Open command prompt as administrator and type: bcdedit /deletevalue increaseuserva. That deletes the entry.
Reboot and you are back to normal
