When?: From 12:00am to 11:59pm EST on Friday, August 31st

Where?: eGO CS Servers

Prizes and Conditions: The top two recruiters of the day will get Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. In the event of a tie for second place or a 3-way tie for first, we will have a drawing to see who gets the game(s). If there is a tie for first then obviously the two people tied will automatically get the game. All recruits must go toward the CS division to be counted towards the contest.


So in theory, you can only get one recruit and it may be good enough for a tie for second where you will have a chance to win CS:GO. However, I recommend you get as many as you can for the best chance to win. As I previously stated the top two recruiters will earn the prize, so if one guy goes big then don't get discouraged! You'll still have a chance to win. I will be checking posted applications on Saturday and will post the winners in this thread that day.

If you already have it, and say you win can you still keep the code or whatever? I might give it to other friends or something :3
And I'm gonna try to make it even though this Friday I'm mainly busy.

Yea, you can still win it if you already have the game!
 
If there is a 3 way tie for first, or a 2 way tie for second I will buy a third game. If they don't have CS:GO already. I would hate for someone to get so close, and not get the prize.

Now if there are multiply people tied.....will have to settle on the drawing.

It's on! all recruits (from 2 hours and 54 minutes ago) and on will count!
 
Everyone's on CS:GO @_@

And no one on dust2 ever gets recruited...so looks like I'm shelling 15 bucks out...plus tax because WA has to pay sales tax on Steam.
 
I think no one has recruited today. Literally, if you get one recruit, you'll probably get a copy of CSGO. Just one before 11:59 PM EST. But you should try to get as many as you can for the sake of the community. ^^

This is the problem I see. Peeps just giving up too easily. At any given time there are between 100 and 200 people in our source servers. Just think about that. I guarantee you there are 10 people RIGHT NOW that are playing on our servers that only if you asked (in steam chat) they would say yes. Recruiting is not hard. Just because three people deny your friends request doesn't mean that recruiting is impossible. if you only put in the tiniest bit of effort in then you could the next great leader in the community.

Good luck for the remainder of the night, guys.

It's not a matter of no people being interested, it's a matter of finding who is...and that's the dead impossible part.
 
I don't think you read what I wrote. Just keep trying. 2nd place has 1 recruit.
 
I think it wouldve been better if it was an extended event in the period of a week or two and that would make people recruit more and we would get more recruits too, just my thought. Wish I could've today but its a friday and had to go out lol
 
I would like to extend a round of applause to Cronus06 and Jean for being the top recruiters of the day. Cronus went huge with 5 recruits and Jean managed to pull 3 recruits in the final hour to earn the 2nd copy of GO. You two please contact jonnyjuju to get your copies of global offensive. If you have any questions then give me a heads up and I will get back to you.

Everyone be on the watch for some big recruiting news tomorrow!
