So, I wont be on the CS:S servers for a little while, my mouse has decided that it no longer wants to work....think there is something wrong with the wireless connection between the USB connector and the mouse. Either way, until I can purchase a new mouse I'll be out of action.

Any one recommend a good mouse? Preferably wireless, but whatever works.

i used to use a mireless mouse but i kept running into that issue, is there a reason u prefer to have a wireless mouse? i definately recomend the logitech g500 or of course any steelseries if u got the money. do u use or fingertips or palm to grip the mouse? that will definately effect your decision imo..the g500 has its lazer position more in the front than the middle and to me makes it easier for a person to use their fingertips, while built to accomodate your palm as well. anyway good luck with that and hopefully u dont have to settle for a wireless becuase imo all the great mouse companies nowadays just use like cloth covered wire.

Only problem is its battery life is atrocious because it uses a single sanyo eneloop 1900 mAh battery, but you can recharge it on the go, so I guess that's a plus.

what are the real benefits of a wireless mouse?? If you are using it on a desktop (not laptop) isn't it better to go with wired?

If you want simple and cheap, I use a Logictech [ame="http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003HC2FHE/?tag=hyprod-20&hvadid=15473202699&hvpos=1o2&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=454453593357025273&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&ref=asc_df_B003HC2FHE"]Amazon.com: Logitech M305 Wireless Mouse (Black): Electronics@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41eMDAwZlaL.@@AMEPARAM@@41eMDAwZlaL[/ame] lol

come to think of it tho... this could be why my aim is so bad :P

I personally dislike cords on something I'm always using to move. Just gets in the way all the time. The performance loss on a wireless these days is kind of negligible as well.

I don't want a wired mouse because I am constantly on a bus across the country, or on a plane, or a car. No room and way to much a hassle to deal with cords is all. Thanks for the suggestions, thinking of buying that Logitech G700.

I've gone through about 4 mice since I got CS:S! =D

I just buy crappy $10 mice, they do the trick.
