1. Is it possible for an AFK ct to bait the ts?
2. Can cts shoot Ts if playing hide and seek and they can see them through armory door? (a transparent door)
3. How does detouring/delaying factor when the warden gives the ts a certain time to be at a location?
4. Why is "ct idol" (a terrorist last request) allowed? That game is mic spamming and has opinionated results.
5. Warden gives x set of orders. Warden dies. During the time of no active warden, do the ts have to follow x orders or is the game in a state of a temporary freeday?
6. Warden commands two ts to play a game of simon says. Both ts refuse to, one of the ts gets killed. Can the other one maintain LR or should he be killed also?
7. Can a warden legally "pardon" a t for killing a ct?

1. yes if the afk ct is outside of armory in a t area
2. Unless they are physically in armory, no
3. No detouring/delaying is implide, so if they should be there by 2:00 and its impossible to be there by 2, you cant do it.
4. the game is stupid yet good at some points, if you think it should be banned Dropbox it
5. the ts have to fallow the orders when warden dies, his orders still stand.
6. they can both die if refused too since it would be unfair for the other one to maintain LR. depending on situation
7. Ts are wanted, pardoning isn't allowed

^everything should be fine, if not ill change them.

On number 3, then whats the point of issuing an order with a time requirement attached? Since the rules imply ts can only be working towards meeting the order

Also, can cts camp armory if they have sight of the ts?

There really isn't a point in issuing an order with a time requirement attached except to prevent the Ts from typing all the time. So you issue a time limit that they can easily complete in time, but without too much spare time that they spend 20 seconds sitting there typing.

im pretty sure you cannot armory camp as it is in the official rules, of course unless you're trapped and at which point ask the warden to kindly ask them to back off or be killed.

To my knowledge, as long as they can see the Ts and aren't just camping in a remote corner in armory not attempting to keep an eye on them, then I think the CTs are allowed to chill in armory.

To your recent question:

Some people do it out of habit. Others just to simply add enforcement behind their orders. Sometimes even both.

To your previous questions:

2: CT's are to be within the designated area of the Hide/Seek day (Normally Armory) and can NOT shoot any T's unless they are on/in a Autowant, or are rebelling by other means such as shooting at the CT's.

5: When the warden dies, his/her commands are still valid until a new warden takes over and gives new commands.

6: Depends on the situation. If the game of Simon Says commenced causing someone to not follow the Simon Says command, than that person can be shot. Sometimes a T might comply if there is no other choice (besides rebelling) and only a few people or just the warden sees that, and shoots the person that isn't complying, thus causing those that didn't see what happened to think it was a freekill.

7: Personally, No. Once a CT is wounded, unless it is during a LR game such as Shot-for-Shot (S4S), by a T, than they are considered rebelling and/or wanted.

Sure the warden might pardon them, but theoretically that just means that he/she, the warden, won't shoot them. Other CT's still could, though.

exactly the reason half the cts don't shoot when a warden pardons, this will just make freekill accusations flare up,aka:
Code:
T kills CT
Warden: I pardon you, he wasnt very good anyways.
sheep shoots the pardoned
T who was shot: WTH I WAS PARDONED!?!?!? FREEKILLER.

My scenario is makes a lot of sense, considering the 10 or so people who bothered to read this thread(me being one)

Pretty much on the spot, don't know where "pardoning" came from, once you are rebelling you must die or continue rebelling :D.

im confused on AFK ct baiting. The rules state you cant be in a location that makes you an easy kill, but while you are afk you can't know where this location will be.

easy to ct afk, stick to armory or drown yourself

I went AFK against a wall (away from the ts at the time), came back and was revoked for 3 rounds for baiting.

you technically are baiting as you are in range of a t's knife, like i said stick to a place like armory or just type kill in the console, you wont be revoked for baiting of delaying the round

I just thought of a great idea. I heard that maps have these things called ct areas where Ts aren't supposed to go! It's all coming to me, perhaps if I were to stay in a ct area, or perhaps an elevated area the Ts wouldn't be able to knife me!

Now for the future, maybe you should take this into consideration and before you go "afk" in the cell area, perhaps find a nice ct area somewhere to prevent yourself from baiting. Now you said this wall was "away from the ts at the time" but it is clearly still close enough to the Ts that a simple movement command would put you into baiting/near baiting distance of them.

tl;dr
Use common sense, use the ct areas and catwalks. They are there for a reason. Now that I have explained this, there really should be no further problems.

Hello! I am Cryptex, the head jail advisor and answerer extraordinaire. I will answer the questions you've put forth, but in the future I'd highly recommend you either PM me, or post in the dropbox. Here are the answers you seek:

1. If the CT is in a non-autowant, yes. If they are, no. IE don't go AFK in the middle of race or on some random wall.
2. The CTs can see the Ts through the door, so if the CTs can see, and they still can kill people in Hide n Seek, then I see no problem in this.
3. No detouring or delaying still applies to these situations. The terrorists must take the most direct route, and at the highest speed allowed by the warden.
4. Few rules for games apply to last requests. It is a last request, why not have some fun?
5. Orders still apply.
6. He can be killed as well.
7. No.

Hope these helped!

P.S. Love you Rogue :D

So in other words if its transparent yes, if you have to open it no? :3

P.s. I love myself :D

For AFK ct baiting, the rules state you cant be in a location that makes you an easy kill, however, while you are afk you can't know where this location will be. According to your findings, any time a ct goes afk on a wall, afk in any game spot, or common area of the map they are baiting right then, even though they aren't meeting any of the situational criteria outlined in the rules. This is arbitrarily and rarely enforced, which leads me to cocern.

On number 6, i'm having a tough time on the reasoning of the "can be killed" ruling. Does the surviving t absolutely MUST have to be killed? I can't see how its fair to the game state because its random to the one who got killed.

Can you respond on cts camping armory if they can see the ts? Can you explain this issuing regarding how long their line of sight has to be on the ts?

Also, are you the official rule maker for the jail server? Don't want it to seem like I'm getting the opinions of admins rather then the official answer.

Its good to make a thread about these issues so that more people can know the rulings and stop the freekills. An O didn't answer all these correctly, imagine what a pub thinks.

I also want this public because I know i will have to reference it in the future for freekills/revokes/kicks/bans.
