Good PS3 games

So ive been neglecting my PS3 for quite some time & I want to give it some more attention. I am looking for some action/racing/puzzle games (for the action, no shooter games). I still am looking to get God of War 3, but will get it when I get my 1st paycheck next week. Any good games that involve being online? The only games I have that has online capability is Rock Band and Motorstorm (both of which are old & doubt anyone plays em anymore).

Please let me know which games you have so that I may look into getting them.

GTA IV and its expansions. <3

LA NOIRE was good too which has both action and is a sort of puzzle.

EDIT: Oh oh oh ! God of War 3!!!!

U should get down on some MGS's series, Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter iV, Ohh u should get down on 3rd strike SF, it's on the playstation store.

Apparently some of you guys arent reading my post correctly. Unless im mistaken, Portal 2 is still considered a first person shooter (true, there are no bullets that you use, but you still shoot those physics bubbles whatever theyre called). Im still planning on getting Portal 2 on pc tho. GTA IV is a tps (third person shooter) & I have it on PC, so no need 2 get the PS3 port (no offense).

Now I am thinking about getting Street Fighter X Tekken & (whenever the game goes down in price) Tekken Tag Team Tournament 2. Ive always been a massive huge fan of Tekken since I think Tekken 2 or 3 (it started back in the PSX glory days). Im also gonna try & get Super Puzzle Fighter HD Remix (used to play the original Puzzle Fighter which was a lot of fun back in the day).

Please forgive me as im not big into shooter games on console (even tho thats where I started back in N64 days, but to me its easier on PC now).

Metal Gear Solid 4. Only game I've really played much on my PS3.
...yes, there is aiming and shooting. The game is not about aiming and shooting, though.

I would call this a shooter... But it is one of my favourite games of all time and i would strongly suggest playing it

I have been playing Midnight Club: Los Angeles lately. I know it's multi-platform but I have it on PS3 and it is probably my favourite racing game of all time (except Mario Kart)

I was gonna suggest that also, but its got shooting in it. I love the uncharted series. Can't wait for the 4th one.

Most games I would recommend has shooting in it. Other than some sports games! There is always lil big planet! :glare:

Im with u right there. Majority of the games i play has shooting in it. Ive never played uncharted before though :/

Blazblue for a decent fighting game.
Lego Star Wars is very entertaining. I'm 22 and I've spent hours playing this game.
Arkham Asylum or Arkham City are also good games to get.

Regardless if it has shooting or not, it has a strong adventure background and the story is great. It feels like you are playing a part in a action/adventure movie more so than a videogame.
