Armored Kill Launch Trailer! BF3 Server Changes announcement!

Here it is, the final trailer before the release of the Armored Kill DLC for Battlefield 3. BF3 PC Premium users will gain access to Armored Kill on the Sept. 11th and Non-Premium Users will gain access on Sept. 25th. We will have a server set up on Day 1 of Premium Release! And with the release of Armored kill we will be changing around a few server configs and they will be as follows:

This server will be changed to host the Armored Kill DLC with the 4 New Maps in a Normal Conquest Rotation and the server size has been increased to 64 from 40. We will no longer support Close Quarters due to lack of community interest, though we may add the maps to a future server rotation.

Player slots to be reduced to 32 from 64. Gamemode to be changed to Conquest Small. Map rotation to remain the same.

With the release of Armored Kill, DICE also released a general Battlefield 3 patch on September 4th. The patch mostly focuses on weapon and vehicle tweaks in preparation to the new DLC. Here are the full patch notes: LINK

Only the 4 new AK maps in the new rotation for now... subject to change at a later time

yes and no. it was alot of fun in the beginning cause it was quite different from the usual battlefield feeling. but cause of the short and fast rounds it got boring pretty fast compared to b2k and the normal bf3 maps imo.

I can't wait to get my hands on that AC-130. I'm calling it right now, that that thing's going to be OP. Anytime you can fire a howitzer from midair at helpless infantry on the ground is a party in my book.

reason why i play most my close quarters games personally on other servers, i hate short rounds...
