This sort of thing has been raised before DS. Although other gaming communities may not be so involved in DoD we here at eGO are in fact keeping it alive. We still have a large number of people who play in our servers and we are still holding regular events.

Now may be a good time to make waves with Valve. New info found in steam's code makes reference to 'source version 2'.

Many of us would love to see a cs:go styled update for models, textures and lighting.

Then again, I don't want to hear anymore whining from the "older-is-better" crowd. Additionally, can the community stand another version and survive?
