Research Paper Proposal

It's that time of the year again in my English Comp class.. I am stumped and can't decided what i want my paper to be on, so i ask you for some help!

1. Not too general (like WW2) but enough info to fill 5 pages (double spaced)
2. I have until 9/19/2012, a week and a half from now to figure out what I'm going to write about.

If you guys could please please please give me some ideas, i'd be very grateful!

Do it on a book theme or a topic you like.

Heres the problem with WW2, the topic of that war has been done so many times. Try a fresh approach like either the Civil War or WW1. I bet that you are bound to find something interesting, especially from WW1. Not many people really put much thought into that time period. As I recall from reading some stuff, we pretty much helped Britain during that time period (please feel free to correct me if im wrong). I dont really recall us getting attacked like we were @ Pearl Harbor just before going into WW2. I would say if anything, write a paper about the Red Baron. He was definitely the most famous character of that war (and that time period). There was even a really good movie based on him that came out a few years ago (feel free to Google it).

If none of that, do a paper on something that you're really passionate about (whether it be games in general or music or whatever you like to do in your spare time). I would hope the above topic would give you plenty inspiration tho.

Tbh, I always hated English comp. I remember having to take the class back in hs (of course failed it since I didnt give a rats a$$ bout it). Thankfully it was the only class I failed & I barely got away with a HS Diploma outta it.
