For eGO it is, that game has a lot of threads asking why we don't support it about every 6 months.

We had an unofficial eGO guild on HoN there was like 30 of us in it...

Well there's 160 members in the OFFICIAL Dota 2 steam group and we still can't get 10 for an event.

HoN is possibly the funnest RTS/MOBA game out right now. Unfortunately the community of the game is the absolute worst ive ever seen. I think an eGO division would be great, as we could play the game with eachother and not have to use their forums for discussion.

i can think of 5 reasons off the bat

1) LoL has about 50x the player base, Dota2 has about 5x and its in "closed beta"

2) Worse community than Dota or LoL

3) Not enough active people play it in the community

4) hard to recruit

5) Its terrible

Mcore's last post basically hit the nail on the head. As of right now, we have no plans on supporting HoN.

ITs not terrible, so dont say that -.- and Im pretty sure its easy to recruit in but im not saying support the game, i just dont want people like mcore downing the game saying its terrible XD. I can name alot of ways its better then LoL but i wont.

no dont get me wrong, LoL is really bad too but for other reasons (dota 2 guy myself. but i dont play that much anymore). S2 is a horrible company. Their admins go on drunken/racist rants of their forums, ban people that say anything bad and they dont get punished or anything

Not to mention the game is pretty poorly balanced

Regardless, we do not have plans to support the game. Just because people are playing a game isn't good enough a reason. Our current experience with moba games is that we cannot actually give any support to the game. Without persistent servers, we cannot have "regulars pubs." Without regular pubs, we do not have a recruiting base. Without a recruiting base, we cannot continue to grow in the PC gaming community. This is just one angle that I would look at for ANY game. For this game, it doesn't cut it.

Then you may ask, "why support other moba games, such as DotA 2 and League of Legends?" These two titles were selected over HoN, Smite, Monday Night Combat, etc. for experimentation in the genre.
