Sorry, but was Cryptic Fortress a old Jail server map? Because I have never heard of it before.

If it is, can I get a screen shot of the map to see what it looked like?

Until people can get original in the maps with lots of stuff to do, then the ones with only a few things to do are going to be vastly repeated and disliked.
So for that reason, I voted no.

No. I'd rather have Failjail map on considering it was removed early 2010.

I still haven't seen anyone give a reason as to why this is any better than what there is now. Theres less to do, it's not dynamic, anyone who ever did race always got off the track, and if they didn't only 1 winner was taken. It made for a bland, reptetitive experience that wouldn't fit in with the CTs of today. The only thing I would ever consider labelling as better is the texture style. The forceshields just give it a nice look. However, that doesn't make up for everything I feel v2 lacked.

Well can honestly say I have never seen that map on the Jail server rotation, but oh well.

Would love to play it though, can't really base a judgement simply on a screenshot.
