Many knew it was inevitable, but the NHL lockout will take place tonight at midnight. The last time there was an NHL lockout, the entire 2004-2005 season was lost. I'm guessing at least two months of hockey will be lost unless a miracle takes place before the end of the day.

I feel like the guy in the Hockey Love Hurts ad. AFK, putting on my NJ Devils tee and going to the shower.

Oh boy...... Were gonna need a miracle for this one D:

On the bright side, the CFL is up, the NFL is up, the NBA is around the corner. NHL? Hockey who? I'll survive.

there still is hockey?? didnt that die out with the dinosaurs?? hahaha

This is how I felt for the NBA last year, and how I feel about the refs in the NFL this year, so even though I dont watch hockey I feel your pain

Your first problem is being a devils fan. RANGERS BABY. Haha. But yeah, it sucks. Over the past couple of years hockey has become my number 2 sport. Baseball is still in first. Football is bringing up the rear in third. Basketball.....I dont think I have ever watched a complete game. Needless to say I am upset about the lock out. I was really excited to see veteran Rick Nash with Rangers. Such a shame. Hopefully it will come back in January, the rangers will win the cup and then i'll be happy for the next 20 years or so until the next lock out.

I was excited too. Disappointing end, last season. Those two 7 games series took its toll. LGR

Was ready to go to some more Canes games too. Went and seen Rangers & Hurricanes last season. Was a hoot. I wore my Rangers Liberty jersey + my Eric Staal canes jersey to that game. (Changed @ intermission)

Hope they get this all resolved soon!

Devils. Stanley Cup. 2013.

I can't wait to see some more Devils vs Rangers games when hockey comes back.
