I'm in the exact same position, except my ex, turned around and filed false charges on me and I spent 8 days in jail.. now I have a bunch of court dates coming up and throwing out money left and right for lawyers, court fees, fines, etc..
Just remember.. it could be worse.. as soon as you think your life is down the tubes, it goes down even further down the tubes... I learned that the hard way.. so try to stay as positive as you can, I know it's easier said than done.
Keep your head up man, just remember you're not alone when it comes to that.
