Proper etiquette for reviving dead people

1. Don't revive someone when you are currently in the line of fire or if the person you are trying to revive is in the line of fire.
2. Don't revive someone that is in open ground, if you do make sure you cover that person once you revive them or make sure the area is clear then revive.
3. Don't tk then revive for points, go stat pad elsewhere.
4. Don't revive someone when he or she keeps on getting gunned down in the same spot (refer to rule 2)
5. Don't be afraid to use your defibs as a legit weapon, be smart with this (this does take some skill)
6. Don't be an idiot running around with your paddies out trying to revive teammates when they are 10 guys shooting at you.
7. If you are dead and need a revive make sure it is clear or relatively clear before calling for back up, don't be constantly calling for a revive (personally it annoys the crap out of me).

People who can't revive piss me off, its better to not revive if you cant do it properly. Note these are all based from things I've seen and experience. KILLER YOU STILL DISAPPOINT ME.

I'll be adding more stuff if I see anything else and feel free to add to the list

I love my revive skills :D my f2000 keeps the area clear then i bust out my defibs to get you back in the game ;) I rather make sure my revive counts than just for 100 points .. screw those 100 points if it's just another kill on some enemies scoreboard ..

I never understood why people care about being repeatedly revived in BF3. It doesn't count as a death each time like it does in BC2 and it refunds the ticket lost. If you eventually get out of the revive trap alive, the assault still helped you and he got a good chunk of points for it. What's the problem?

1. its annoying
2. after you get revived once, there is a great chance you won't get another one
3. not easy getting revive trap sometimes
4. failure to follow rule 2

If you get revived and are killed immediately with no revive after that, you're still in the same boat you were originally in. Only 1 death and you just respawn.

At the end of the day, it's a video game and people are going to do what they want to do. Lol

I revive everyone, all the time, non-stop. Seriously, just reject the revive if you don't want it.

If you don't get up between revive and 2nd kill, you can't be re-revived. still only 1 death and if you stay prone it's a good time to work on your pistol kills.

i hve gotten revived at least twice many times, and i do agree its a good time to work with your pistol, a quarter of my pistol kills comes from a revive.

yes i do know you can reject a revive but the problem with that is you wait longer to spawn on (i can get impatient, especially when a situation calls for me).

I think it has pro's and con's to get revived constant. If you are in a hot situation and you stay prone unload your pistol clip in enemy direction you can help gettin suppression and maybe a kill to stop enemy progression. On the other hand i think it actually can increase the amount of time to respawn on a safe location while getting revived over and over because i think your respanw timer resets every time you get revived except for the time you decline the revive.

I always try to make the best out of getting revived. since i have seen where the enemy comes from i just unload my pistol in that direction trying to suppress or even kill the enemy BEFORE i even try to stand up and run into cover :D

I am going to go ahead and say this, yes some of those are annoying however alot of time a medic is not aware of what killed you. We are given a marker of someone who died and we go to attempt to prevent ticket loss of the team. I personally do not res a person again, after they have been killed a second time on the ground, unless I honestly think they can get out of the line of fire.

I will also say that rarely a person will corpse camp on purpose unless they are sure it will net them points. You also shouldnt bash medics, because it might be annoying for you but at least they are trying to help you. as opposed to the majority of the team.
