1.6 was awesome! I never performed any of these exploits, however I did like the awesome blood splashes.

its pretty hard, but yes, very possible if you are practiced.

Right with ya steel. Love how there was practically no recoil (thompson and mp40) in 1.6 and I was WAY better with the Kar98 compared to source.

i still prefer the orginal dod to the source version, but you cant live in the past forever.

I had a lot of good times in 1.6. From playing on pubs, to all of the different leagues, to the hilarity of the gotfrag forums. I do miss those days sometimes.

i miss carbine class, grease gun, the piat, deployable bar, garand butt stock
also caen, vicenza, krastoff
most of all the fg-42 which would be great for realism right now

I miss dod_Zalec with it's close quarter combat structure. It’s a lot like Donner only a bit bigger and with more buildings in a winter environment. And dod_Vincenza is another awesome map where you can blow wholes in some of the walls with satchel charges or a bazooka to gain a tactical advantage. Great map!
