Are any of you going to buy it? I have seen some trailers. I'm going to buy it. Looks like its going to be a good game.

Don't know, after the mediocrity of ODST and Reach I think I might be done with Halo. Then again, I still have high hopes that the series can come back.

I might not have a 360 (yet, at least), but I'm awfully skeptical about H4... Bungie was dang good at the game series, and H4 is the first actual game that 343 Industries has done outside of joint development on a mobile Halo game. Also, the video of it I was watching kind of bothered me. Cortana's voice in it was somewhat garbled by a static-y noise as if it were playing through a small tinny speaker, as if MC's armor engineers decided it needed a crappier internal speaker for the AI to communicate with the soldier. It's a small point, but fairly valid IMO.

ODST and Reach ruined the series for me, i am not going to buy another halo again.

Well at this point, I've ended up getting every Halo game.... It's more or less an inevitability at this point. I dunno. Combat Evolved was the reason I got an original Xbox. I stood in line at releases for the collector's editions of 2 and 3. I got ODST a couple months after release for Christmas, and that was horrible. I actually liked Reach and got it on release night due to working at Gamestop, but the series is starting to fizzle out for me. I'll probably end up getting it for Christmas again. Until then, I'll be preoccupied with AC3 and possibly Dishonored if it gets good reviews.

I don't get it, whats with all the hate towards Reach and ODST? I think ODST was one of the most underrated Halo games out.

Because the campaign was 4-6 hours long max, and there was no additional support content or expansions. It was basically an expansion to Halo 3 that they tried marketing for a $60 price as its own game. There was like 3 new multiplayer maps for Halo 3 and that's about it as far as online multiplayer went for the game. Honestly, if it were marketed as a $20 expansion, I'd have been alright with it.

I'm going to get it for my brother who'll be coming home from Afghanistan right around the release date. I won't be getting it for myself though, I'm not a console gamer.
