Server listing problem

Can anyone help me? I used to play on the Dustbowl server a lot (M1st3r M0nd4y). However, I recently had the most mind boggling bug. TF2 removed the server from my favorites list, and now when I go to search for it through IP, it refuses to add it back to my favorites list and won't let me connect directly to the server.

Has anyone else run into this, or have a solution? Thanks!

I've also run into this problem. What I do is just restart steam and launch TF2 right back up, and try again. That's all I got for you hope it helps!

here is the dustbowl IP 64.150.186.180:27015
make sure you dont have any filters on your favourites list.

Sephiroth, I had the server IP and I have no filters, the game just refuses to allow the IP into my favorites.

jamilo, I'll have to try that. Thanks!

are you able to connect via typing connect SERVERIP into your console?

It will eventually come back, it does that to me sometimes. You should be able to find it again in the internet selection again if you really want to.

Hmm, I didn't think to try that. Thanks ^^

The problem is that I don't know the server tags =P

Right click the Steam icon in your taskbar and click on Servers. Your Steam server browser most likely still has them.

This has happened to me before with some servers. I would use the Steam server browser to connect. Then one day, I tried deleting the servers and re-adding them to my Steam server browser. And they showed up again in TF2. But this didn't work for another friend, so it was probably just coincidence.

It will eventually come back. This has happened to me before, usually when my client crashes or the server bugs out (Happened a lot on old Foundry)

All you can do is check the connection and wait it out.
