Game Reviews with Dutchoper:
The War Z

<div style="width: 500px; text-align: center" align="center">The outbreak has happened, and zombies are everywhere. As a survivor, you must follow the basic fight or flight scenario or, if you can find enough ammo, just shoot your way through everything.

The War Z is the first survival MMO based in the universe of zombies and the undead. The world is open and expansive with a large range of weapons... once you find them. There are no handouts; anything you need must be scavenged. How you group together, build, and survive will define what living in this world means for you. With a one time purchase and no subscription fees, the game hopes to blend the lines between MMO, FPS, and Survival genres.

What makes The War Z different from the traditional MMORPG is the fact that there are no levels. The only things you have to help you survive are a few unique skills, your judgement, and a twitchy trigger finger. Unlike the somewhat similar DayZ mod for Arma2, The War Z will offer multiple modes of play including respawn and the option to go hardcore where death means death. The War Z Team also hopes to provide players with micro-servers allowing them to build up their own co-op worlds.

Everyone knows you can't survive an apocalypse alone so get ready to bring your friends and fight side-by-side against a never ending horde. Registration for Closed Beta is beginning soon. Sign-up is available at The War Z's website http://thewarz.com/</div>

First!

Never got to write that before. I have to be honest, it's not what I hoped it would be.

Not to argue semantics but wouldn't this be better labeled as a preview?

Anyhow long story short, I will be following this with interest. If it has better ways to prevent hacking than DayZ I could see myself having lots of fun with it.

FINALLY A GOOD Zombe MMO!!! tired of playing Dead Frontier...hahaha cannot wait, aside from playing WW2 Shooters, i love Zombie shooters, espcially if it has an RPG aspect of it, think thats why i love Dead Frontier, Day Z, and Killing Floor

Thanks for the well written review Dutchoper. Great art, as usual, Druid.

Got my email for beta, anyone buying it to play on the 16th i believe....29.99 and 49.99 or just waiting until the 31st for free.
Also any word if we are supporting this game with a clan or server? ive read you will lose items when you die..even if you have purchased them in game, were gonna need a good crew.
