Do you consider yourself mechanically inclined?

I started to use that as an option. I know several "kids" who are old enough to drive, but have no ideal how to deal with a flat tire.

Thank you! Haven't even had it for a week yet but it's still blowing my mind.
My Camaro is quick from a stop light, and isn't terrible in the corners (it's actually a full 10 inches shorter than my Evo, 48" tall as opposed to 58") but the gearing in the transmission and rear end really kill it once you hit about 60mph.
But the Evo has low gearing in all 5 gears, so I can go from 60-100 in no time at all without downshifting. Passing people on the freeway actually startled me the first time because I had no idea I was going that fast. Was worried about a cop or something, lol.
I'd reccomend it to anyone who wanted a race car feel in a street car. It has its flaws but the don't detract from what the car is.

When the Zombie Apocalypse comes, knowing how to write a spiffy App for your smartphone is just gonna get your brain sucked out for someone's lunch. It used to be that guys took woodshop, metal shop, welding, and auto shop, in high school. Girls took cooking. Now it's all been cut in most states and kids leave school not knowing how their car works or how to hard boil an egg.

I was born a mechanic and there's pretty much nothing I can't fix and or won't work on.
I had just rebuilt my sisters 02 Pontiac Sunfire with a 2.2 engine. it had 248K miles on it.
I even had Lupus out in the garage with me torquing mains, rods, head, intake,....well you get the picture.
So with that being said if it leaves my garage not running only 1 of 2 things happened, the owner didn't want to put the money into fixing said item/s or couldn't get parts for it/them!

If I can unbolt it, I can put it together again, w/o spare parts leftover. Internal engine/transmission stuff, I usually leave to a real mechanic.
I'm also GREAT at breaking things...like driveshafts and axle shafts. I like to play rough, off-road. This WAS my front driveshaft on my Jeep:

Well as most of you already know I own a diesel mechanic shop. Day to day basis is anything from minor being a simple service to the longest most time consuming being doing an in frame rebuild plus rebuild. For the not so mechanically inclined semi trucks and tractors.

Basic and simple stuff when it comes to mechanics. I'm more into electronics, done my share of wiring so to speak.

Been rebuilding this bad boy since 01 and i must say, if finding parts for a 65 mustang isnt hard enough, trying finding parts for a 6-cyl. THis picture isnt fully up to date, i put some 4lug american racing alloys on and i converted the front to disk brakes. Im thinking about going big and upgrading the engine to efi.
