Mic distorted and cutting out other players sound in DoD only.

As the title states in DOD ONLY I'm told my mic is heavily distorted, too quiet, and that it cuts out other peoples in-game sounds..


I've looked up a few fixes but none of them directly relate to my issue.

I've run into people with the sound cut out issue and it's extremely annoying so I just don't use my mic at all anymore. This is a problem considering I'm big on making calls to help my team win and stopping to type out enemy positions and what-not is frustrating.


I've already messed around with my microphones settings, DoD microphone settings, and edited my configs mic settings. Nothing has improved.

Perhaps there is some sort of interference that I'm not thinking of? Maybe a driver issue? I'm really at a loss. I've never had a problem with my mic in any game before.

This would prob be good under the Tech Help section of the forums. It might be caused by the recent updates we had in DODS that just gives you an issue now but I am not sure.

Yeah I'm aware of the tech support forums but considering this is only an issue in DoD I decided it would be better to post here in case anyone else has come across this and fixed it or knows a fix.


Also this has been going on for about 2 months now.
