If you have a copy of your credit card statement that should cover you on purchase and Steam should have records of every purchase made for each account since they track everything you do and buy.

My only advice to you now that you have been hacked for the first time, is to change your password regularly and don't have it related to your username. I read about a guy that designed a rather simple program in Java that stole over 300 Minecraft accounts by using the passwords of their username forwards, backwards, similarities in the username, and any combo of those with a random set of numbers between 1-9.
