SimCity - Coming Feb

I don't know about any of you fella's, but I am a huge SimCity nerd. I'm talking about the old and new, I own them all. And I am very excited about the up-coming SimCity on the new GlassBox engine.

This game gets soo in depth with city dynamics, it's amazing. Even universities are endorsing this game for its sheer effectiveness in business simulation. I am very impressed with how much Maxis has put into this game, but sadly they are controlled by those nasty EA folk.

I must say, I am looking forward to the greatness of SimCity, but not the highly probable DLC that EA seems to fond...

Played the original Sim City on PC and the SNES port. Liked both, really loved the SNES port. I could play that all day.

Will keep my eye on the new one as it gets closer. Not sure if I'll end up getting it or not. It has my interest though!

Once upon a time I liked SimCity, and then EA came along and started "tweaking" it... And now, since it's obviously an EA game, I doubt we'll see it anywhere other than Origin and retail (which will be forced to use Origin)... It looks nice, and I've had an urge to get a new SC game, but with EA behind them still I doubt it'll ever see the 1s and 0s of my HDD.

Loved Simcity, haven't played it in years. I was also a big Roller Coaster tycoon fan haha. This looks amazing and seems really fun. If I do get it, def gonna go with Casinos haha

After SC4 and the complete take over by 'We Need More Money' Company aka EA, SimCity just died. This one has a Cities XL feeling not a SC 2k, 3k, 4 feeling.

ya i have cities XL it is a lot of fun, because of that i probably wont get any SCs.

Just watched the 9 minute youtube video where the producer walks us through his "gambling city" gameplay.

Very impressed. Honestly it looks like Sim City with a Sims interface. Not saying it's a bad thing. The game looks great! Will keep following!
