Im a little confused by the 75% points loss/gain thing- what does that mean?

This is basically just the amount of points that you lose and your killer gains when you die. Right now if you die and lose 25 points, whoever killed you gains 25 points. With the 75% rule, your killer still gains 25 points but you only lose 18-19 (depending on how the points are rounded).

You already get a lot of points by playing on anzio for capping flags. If anzio was included you would gain even more points which would make the point system even more unbalanced.

I just play DOD:S for fun and wasn't even aware of the point system.

Agreed. Points are cool but playing just for points is lame in my opinion. These changes will hopefully get people to run and gun more.

^^Alright BCA Sold me. I hate points with a passion because of the point hoarders who don't even play anymore once they get to x amount. I want to see more people rushing and getting into the game. If these point system changes can make that happen, you have my vote.

Yes it sounds like a great idea, should get a lot of those beach campers on Strand into really playing that map the way it's meant to be played!:biggrin:

Thanks for voting everybody, and thanks for your input. These changes have been made, with the exception of flag caps. This was overlooked at first, and we found out that 6 points per flag cap is a set number.
