Thompsons get such a bad rap but mp40's get away scott free
Allies weapons are better. Consider this,
Sniper: Identical. They function the same way just look different. Here there is no advantage.
Rifle: The m1 garand is the best weapon in the game, so the allies have the advantage here.
Heavy: BAR is better than stg44 because it is more accurate and more powerful, the fact that stg44 has more ammo is not relevant if you can properly control the recoil and use the heavy. So allies have an advantage here too.
Light: Both the tommy gun and the mp40 are identical, they just look different. But both are utter garbage. So there is no advantage on either team.
MG: Even though the mg's are different the fact that they have no recoil and high rate of fire means for practice purposes that they are just as good. So there is no advantage here either.
Rocket: The bazooka is better than panzer in that you move faster after firing it. Furthermore, the m1 carbine is like one of the best weapons in the game, way better than the c96. Again the allies have the advantage.
Pistol: The only place where the axis have advantage is on the pistol in that it has one extra bullet, this can be the miracle bullet in the close encounter.
When all things considered the allies are definitely the better team than the axis.
I've seen breakdowns on the cof of both, both visually and mathematically they are identical.I'm still interested in the source that says the BAR is more powerful than the STGDoes the same damage to players.
You can pull off the same crap with the Thompson and mp40, or at least I can. The Mp40 though has a slower rate of fire then the Thompson. The reason though that only the Thompson gets the bad rep is the fact is its mostly used on the Allied side. However if the axis side "noob tube" as some put it would be the Kar98 seeing as how its mostly used on the axis side. The problem many people do not see is the Thompson does take skill to use effectively. I have mastered this skill, but kinda lost it due to moving on to other things. Sure the Thompson does get head shots, but not all the time. After having over 500+ hours in the allied assault class their are many things a rusher gets. Not only can you stay alive longer, but you help the team out by capping flags. If some of you have run into me on Flash in the past you would know how to fear a Thompson that is used effectively.
Like i said though, people have tunnel vision when it comes to the Thompson. You get 3 head shots out of 5 kills and they complain. To truly understand the Thompson you have to master it.
Pretty much sums it upThat makes sense there are just more Thompson players than mp44 players
As for the rifles. I don't know. I see both, overall, are equal. The Garand is more suited for mobile shooting, but the Kar has more power and thus more suited as a make-shift sniper rifle and a more guaranteed kill.

i love the Thompson an mp40 if u just run at the enemy not crouching running an firing around every corner u will find that a lot of the head shoots are just from jamming the assault down the enemy's throat an making them swallow ever bullet you feed them![]()
Axis weapons in every sitaution? No way. I definitely prefer the Garand over the Kar98K - at least in a mobile situation.
