This really is not a substantive thread regarding any particular facet of the GameMe rankings; rather, it is simply an opportunity for me to label the ranking list absurd.

I am disappointed in myself that it took me until now to realize this, but as of right now I no longer care.

Carry on.

Welcome to the club! I used to be in the top 400 in CSS' gameme, then I lost 400 points because i wasn't having the best week ingame and newbies got 25 points per kill. Now, I am back to zero because I recently recovered my old account, and I don't even have a positive K/D on CSS/DODS ^_^

Yah I don't care about stats/ranks either I like to play for fun! Even when playing competitively I either joke about the score or don't really care at all, as long as I think I did well or had a great time.

I typically play for fun, but I do try to keep my k/d positive at all times. If I've done that, then I'm okay.

Haha, keep your K/D up and newbies won't have the chance to kill you.

Or, have a taunt battle with some high-ranking O's when you seed in the morning. That always helps the points.

I see you Drac :P

I don't care about my gameme stats, just try to maintain a good K/D ratio.

Why are you posting a thread about something if you don't care about it? ;\

I made the thread to announce that I had finally come to the conclusion that I did.

I used to check my gameme stats all the time. I then began to drop in the ranks drastically, because I is the suck, har har. So now, I just play for fun, but I do keep my K/D ratio as decent as possible.

Since my K/D was bashed from playing on eGO servers since I started TF2, I check my K/D to get above 1.

So, welcome to GameMe, where everything is made up and the points don't matter!!

I think if points gained/lost for k/d weren't relative to other players' rankings, the system would work better- in other words, if you gained the same number of points no matter who you killed, and lost the same number of points no matter who killed you. This sliding scale of 2-25 points ruins the system.

People who play for points are playing for all the wrong reasons, unless its for competitive purposes.
