So I wanted to start up a thread of fail answers that contestants give for a specific question. I was just watching a rather recent episode & the statement was "Name a holiday in the fall." Now mind you that this was the Fast Money round. The family had already gotten 198 points & needed 2 more points. This was the last possible chance for them to win $20k.
The guys answer was Christmas.
Seriously?? Can someone tell me when the last time that Christmas was anywhere from September-November? By the way the first person (who was prob his wife already said Thanksgiving & he even called that out).
Similar fail but wasnt nearly as bad. The statement was "Name a city in Florida." Again, the first person called out Orlando & he called that out as well, but for some odd reason he decided to call out Gainesville. Seriously?? What is so famous or memorable about Gainesville that the city immediately comes into your mind?
No matter, it was the last answer that just really dumb-founded me & caused me to want to start up this thread & find out more fails that other people remember.
Now, let me add; the answer can sound stupid or ridiculous & may still count in the show. If you wish to post Youtube video of your favorite fail, please feel free.
