I've been participating in it since last year's event they had..didn't get any donations/sponsors for it, but it was still a fun experience.

They've been doing it ever since 2008 on the same date each year - October 20th.
Last year, from what I recall reading, was a big hit for them: Most money raised and most people that participated.
