Upgrading Rig

I was contemplating using my current desktop for work and investing in a whole new desktop all together, however, I have realized that many of my components are not in need of upgrade any time soon. Instead, I am going to be upgrading my current rig.

Things I would like to upgrade include:

1. Case

I currently have the Tempest 410 Elite. I do not really care for the looks and I would like more room for the installation of liquid cooling. I am looking into purchasing the Corsair 800D. If you have any better suggestions, please let me know!

2. GPU

I am planning on purchasing a second 7850. The only question about the second graphics card that I really have is the cooling solution. Please see below!

3. Liquid Cooling

I am not sure what I should be looking for as far as liquid cooling goes. I am planning on purchasing a second graphics card along with this other stuff (crossfire 7850s) so I am not sure if that will affect the components I need. Please post suggestions here!

1. 800D is overkill unless you're doing a full custom water cooling loop.
2. Best idea yet.
3. IF you want to go that route, I would strongly suggest read a crap ton of threads and guides first. And do A LOT of research.
4. I would try for a 3 monitor setup if you do go for crossfire.

1. Unless you have a reason to hate your current case then don't bother throwing money away.
2. Look up what is called "micro-stuttering" decide if you can live with it and then consider a second graphics card.
3. Don't bother with liquid cooling unless you plan on doing HUGE overclocks or just really enjoy the added maintenance that goes along with it.

In closing there is really no reason to upgrade what you have. It's still a very good rig and will be for awhile. Is there a particular part of your rigs performance you don't like?

Well, I have completed the majority of the upgrades that I wished to do. I have upgraded the cooling on my rig as many of you may have seen in other threads. Cooling was a big issue and I am glad to have it out of the way. Now it's time for performance upgrades.

Last night I ordered a 7970 that was on sale on Newegg (also made a thread about that card). This covers the aspect of GPU performance. I decided to go with a better single GPU rather than crossfiring because I would rather not "close any doors" in the future. Who knows, I may need to upgrade my GPU again in a year or two at which time I could crossfire 7970s for excellent performance.

With the GPU out of the way, I am contemplating purchasing a second 120gb SSD to run in raid 0 with my current SSD. The main reason is because I am running short on space installing several games.

I know there are a few things to consider in terms of compatability, however, I am not sure what those are. I have done some research but I'm still unclear about what I need to be looking at to see if this is a possibility.
