Hey fellow Battlefield members. Long time no see!
I just wanted to drop in and say a few things. First of all: I miss you guys a ton. For far too long I didn't realize how much of Battlefield I enjoyed because of the community. Over the summer, I spent way too much of my damn time pubbing on other servers, and I've come to regret it. While many of you may not know, as my summer came to a close, so did another chapter in my life: my first relationship. As most of you can agree, that event sucks. Following said breakup, I went into a massive depressive state that lasted for about a month, putting us in mid-September. Looking back, I realize the stupidity, yet I still wouldn't change anything given the opportunity; I learned numerous valuable life lessons during that time. Best part? I ended up getting the girl back.
On to my second point: you. Enough about me. Honestly, I'm torn between being proud or upset with you guys. Sure, things could be better, but you've been partying without me?! C'mon now. The only thing I want to see improved is recruiting. Typical PBJ, right? A recruiting post. Keep reading though.
I've been inactive, and I know it. With high school, the breakup, and friends, I just haven't had any time to play. However, I still check the website, and maintain a silent vigil of presence. Since I can't be in the field, I want you guys to be. Just chat with some squadmates, generate some chemistry, and eventually pop the question asking them to join. From there, it's a simple ride getting them set up with a forum account and them becoming a verified, official member. On that note, keep them around: Ventrilo, events, forum posts. I challenge each of you to one recruit this month.
If any of you have any questions, feel free to ask in this thread or PM me; I'll try to get back to you within the day. With recent goings-on, I like the direction the division is going, and the progress I'm sure to soon come back to is palpable. Good luck, my friends! I'll be back soon. Promise.
