Colmar Server?

I love the map dod_colmar. It's the kind where you plant the bomb and defuse, it's kind of like kalt and snowy. I took a pic of it if you don't know what I mean.

I am not even sure this is possible but I am throwing it out there. I bet it could get to #1 Gametrackers...

I love that map and wish we had one. It is a challenge when you are left with one objective, their AA. The only draw back is the 15 sec respawn time unlike any other map I've played. Good map for a scrim.

I don't think this is going to happen: we've got plenty of servers that aren't always full.

That brings me to an idea of mine: couldn't we make Anzio a rotation server with maps like Anzio, Colmar, Jagd, Kolsch? Like the major and best-known custom maps?

bas. b thats the single greatest idea ive read on the forums. but what do i know....

edit: it is an awesome map to scrim on. almost every game ive played on that map has been pretty much epic.

[/quote1210162302]It'd never stay full. None of those maps fill up that easily, and a rotation would never fill up.

But a Jagd or Colmar 24/7 server would be awesome.

Alot of you guys don't know this, but we had a Colmar server on our European server. It was part of the rotation on that server.

Nobody played on it, because of the high pings and the map. So they got rid of it.

I like Bas.B's idea, that would be a very interesting, and fun idea for the Anzio server!

I know several members of Council are very opposed to rotation servers. So I wouldn't hold my breath.
