Reserved Slots ?

Was it ever a subject to maybe Dedicated Supporters or Admins to have reserved slots on the servers ? Or is the turnover rate too high and too much of an effort to manage ? Just wondering .. I sit sometimes 25 minutes in waiting line to get on to the BC2 Servers ..

I think I've only gone even 15 minutes once, but I have noticed the line increasing in size over the last few weeks. If you go on vent you might find someone in-game who can look for afks.

Consider this: I've gone to other servers when the line looks oppressive as sort of a "show the flag" mission. I've met one or two others out there who've done the same.

We've had reserved slots before, some were given out for event winners etc., but usually it ended up kicking eGO members when they entered and caused more trouble than they were worth.

yeah i figured that .. it can be really high maintainance to add/remove members ... ..

Ok .. guess I'll just kick back in the waiting line .. I only play eGo Server .. I picky lol ..

Had several issues last weeks with telling guys to keep the chat clean and watch their language .. i just never like others be upset and leave because of immature behaviour of others .. oh well .. Kids

Try the chaos that is Heavy Metal around 4 am cst, I have 4 notebook pages of names I alone have banned from there.... graveyard shift on HM can be brutal, same for HC rush though with rush, I tend to let the language slide a bit because at early morning hours it is usually all grown ups playing. and I do understand the frustration of having say tk'er while your trying to have fun.

I won a couple 2 week reserves back in the day, never did use 'em. If I only a had nickel......

As has been said we do not give out reserve slots due to past experience with them. We once had some many people with them that people were raging about constantly being kicked for it. Leadership members are the only who currently are allowed to have them on the BC2 server but most of us no longer have that set up since we like to wait in line too. We will not be bringing back reserved slots because of the issues previously stated.

i relate to that .. since BF3 Servers are not really running maybe we could get one more BC2 Vietnam server lol .. naaa just kidding .. you guys get enough around your ears already .. take it easy i'll just take the long time of wait
