Thank you very much MiniNayNay!
It's raining and around 40 degrees here in central Va. and we shouldn't get it to bad here, but if we do my house will be a hub so to speak just as it was last time a hurricane came by us because I have a little over 4200 square feet and I have a 15KW propane generator out back, and we have gas hot water, cook stove, gas logs, and even a pretty big grill out back.
We're stocked to the nines so friends and family will have a warm home with showers, food and great company to boot so I think we'll be fine on this end!

Coming from someone who lives in Florida and deals with these storms every year, don't take these babies lightly. They will mess you up if you are not prepared. Stay safe guys!

Ahh the joys of Texas. GOOD. LOVING. TEXAS. And even then, I'm in a north east part of Texas. So even when a storm comes through the gulf, i still don't take damage...unless its HUGE.
Wish you guys the best of luck. Don't forget to videotape the storm and make it seem like it's Cloverfield 2 (I think that's the right movie...wow i'm so out of touch with films)
